Eagle House Beachside Motel
Relax in a quiet residential neighborhood location. Enjoy our patio with wet bar, and we are steps from Rockport's village, art galleries, restaurants and shops. The entire village of Rockport is just a few steps away. Enjoy the scenic beauty, art galleries, music, restaurants, shopping and a wide variety of activities.

Welcome to the EAGLE HOUSE MOTEL & GUESTHOUSE in Rockport MA, the perfect Rockport downtown and beach location. The Eagle House features 14 rooms. All rooms have mini fridge, microwave, private bathroom, cable TV, free Wi-Fi, A/C and outside deck. The EAGLE HOUSE GUESTHOUSE features 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, kitchen and living room, large outside patio and driveway for parking 2 cars.
Services
We invite you to stay at the Eagle House and discover the charm of Rockport just outside your door. We are uniquely located on a quiet back street, where you can walk to beautiful, sandy Front Beach, specialty shops, restaurants and art galleries. Many guests also enjoy venturing beyond Rockport.

A short distance from the motel there is a direct train to Salem and Boston, allowing you to visit two of American's most visited destinations, while staying right here in quiet Rockport, near the village and beach. Our guests love the Eagle House Motel and our adjoining guesthouse. Frequent comments from guests include: Our great location Nice, clean updated rooms Beautiful new decks Very helpful innkeepers.
One of the notable things about Front Beach is that it is in the heart of the Rockport village, not way out of town. There is very limited metered street parking, but no parking lot. Front Beach is a "walk to", not a "drive to" beach. You can have friends or relatives drive you and drop you off of course, but the chances of parking there during a hot summer day are slim.
The Eagle House is a relaxing, peaceful, Zen kind of place. Lounge on our patio or by your room as you listen to the sounds of the garden waterfall and hourly bells from the neighboring church. Additional amenities include an outside shower so you can rinse off when returning from the beach. Guest Rooms: Each of our 14 rooms offers air conditioning, cable TV, microwave, refrigerator, shared balcony and free parking.
We offer a beautifully renovated guest house, just next door to the Eagle House Motel. We have recently renovated the property inside and out and our guests love it. The house is rented on a weekly basis in season. Off season it is available both weekly and nightly. The downstairs guest room and upstairs suite can be rented separately, on a nightly basis in the off season.
Directions: Follow Route 93 north or Route 1 north from the Boston area until you exit to Route 95/Route 128. Follow Route 128 north through the two Gloucester rotaries. At the first traffic light on Route 128 in Gloucester turn left onto Route 127. Proceed three miles to the "5 corners" intersection.

My fiancé and I stayed here for the weekend for a friend’s wedding and loved it. The room was very clean and comfortable. Whatever detergent they use to clean the towels smells amazing. Would highly recommend this gem of a place to anyone!

Great location and perfect for a 1-2 night stay...a few minor negatives, which aren't worth mentioning. Overall, a good experience!

We took an impromptu trip up to Rockport. It's been years and I had no idea where to stay but selected this place based on location and rating. Things could not have been better. WOW! Beautiful setting, clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. Perfect location! I loved it and hope to return soon for a longer "planned" stay!!!

Great motel in a great location. Walking distance to everything. Comfy bed, nice bathroom. I will give a word of warning to those visiting the area, though: my partner and I did wake up every hour during the night due to the tolling of the bell from the bell tower. This has nothing to do with the motel, but I would suggest closing your windows at night if you're visiting Rockport! Anyways, great motel. 10 out of 10 would recommend!

The building could use a little work but the room was clean and the location is great! Parking was included and it's a quick walk to anything in town. I would stay here again for sure.

The best part about Eaglehouse is how perfectly situated it is. Only a minute walk down the road to get to the very center of town. Quick Beach access and close to everything. Also only a 10 minute walk from the train station. Eaglehouse is very charming, and I loved the patio tables outside each room. Since we had a corner room we had a wonderful view of the town from our balcony. Service was great, they were able to switch our room for us when someone had canceled and a better room became available. The room was small but quaint. It was just fine for the two of us. Nice big TVs and renovated

My family just stayed there and had a great time. The room was clean and simple. I loved that it was modern and minimal as well - it added to the overall relaxing nature of the place. It's no frills (go somewhere else) but had all that you needed. There was an emphasis on recycling and I appreciated the communal coffee/kitchen sink area where we could wash out our water bottles etc. You could tell it was recently renovated and I loved the bamboo floors. Gary was very helpful and friendly. We will be back!

Wonderful place to stay! The owner Gary is awesome! It was our first time in the area and we chose a terrific place to stay. Close to everything in town and about a 20 minute drive to Gloucester. The property was very nice and comfortable. Very clean and spacious! We would definitely stay again if we return to the area.

The location here is as good as it gets---you are literally steps away from the Rockport shops, restaurants, and pier. People who have given negative reviews need to chill out; it's a motel, not the 4 Seasons. The rooms are no frills but are clean and the owner made sure we had all the info we needed about the area (maps, recommendations, driving directions, etc.). When the room next to us was too loud, we let him know early in the evening that it wasn't a problem at that time, but that if it got too late it would be an issue. He addressed it with the patrons and they quieted down at

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay a the beach-side Eagle House. Room 7 was clean, had a great view of the water, (close enough to hear the breakers), and a big balcony with comfy chairs. Check in was quick and casual, and Glen had on-point restaurant recommendations for dinner and breakfast. Walking distance to the galleries, shops and harbor, it was everything we wanted for a quiet night away.

Who wouldn't love Rockport over the 4th of July?! So much to do and see...or just walk across the street to the beach! We stayed at the sister motel, Eagle House Beachside.

Nice room with simple beach decor. There's a coffee maker (although they make it fresh everyday in the small lobby), microwave, and small frig. We were in Room 2 would have loved the room above us that has it's own porch, however we were able to sit either outside our room or a few steps beyond there are more comfortable chairs & sofa with a table and umbrella. Perfect view spot for the beach or the adorable

This is for their other location on Beach Street. I stayed at the Cleave Street location years ago. I picked the beach location because it has a view of the water. I think my tastes and budget have changed in the past decade. Don't get me wrong the location is top notch with Front Beach and Bear Skin Neck steps away; but it's a bit shabby. Upon check in we were giving room 1 right next to the office on the ground floor. It had carpet and smelled a bit musty. No big deal I bought a candle. The real issue came at night when I tried to sleep. It sounded like Sumo wrestlers were practicing

RUDE and unprofessional owner. DO NOT DO business with GARY!! DO NOT STAY here!!!

I booked my room through booking.com. My first time using the site. I wanted to surprise my daughter who was visiting from AZ with a nice stay/adventure in the North Shore.

I experienced car troubles while picking her up at Logan. It was early in the morning ( around 7). I called the motel to explain that I needed to cancel my reservation for that evening and why.

Gary was rude. He was very abrupt and in short told me I needed to call booking.com and that had I booked with him directly maybe he would

The Eagle House Motel is a pleasant and quaint little place just a few steps from the center of Rockport. Can't ask for a nicer location, close to be convenient yet still quiet and peaceful.

The room we had was on the small side but nicely decorated with a nautical theme and small fridge, microwave and TV. Nothing fancy but just want we wanted.

The motel is one of those rambling kind of places with lots of different decks that offer nice views of the town. A pleasant patio is in the back and has a little fountain that adds a rustic feel.

The only problems
