Please contact your provider to verify how your plan compensates you for psychotherapy services. Do I need written approval from my primary care physician in order for services to be covered?.
Not at all. People who ask for help know when they need it and have the courage to reach out. Everyone needs help now and then. In our work together, I'll help you explore and identify your strengths and how to implement them to reduce the influence of the problems you are facing. The difference is between someone who can do something, and someone who has the training and experience to do that same thing professionally.

Absolutely awful
She was Late for my daughter’s first appointment , then my daughter said Thelma spent a lot of time checking her phone not listening to my daughter.
Booked a zoom appointment as second appointment and Thelma never connected.
Then I checked on my daughter’s appointment to double check we had got right day and found all her appointments had been cancelled but I didn’t do it.
When Thelma finally responded to my emails to find out what happened she said we cancelled all the appointments and there was no way there could be an error in her system .
She accused my daughter

Canceled first appointment on me, then late to second, never apologized. Was told to complete forms on website but forms say not to email to her. She played word games with me intimating I went to her website, Not her platform. I did what was told and made to feel at fault. Would not recommend or pursue further. Seemed disheveled and rude. Strange for a LMHC to be playing mind games with patients.

Saw her once and wasn’t a good fit, okay fine It happens.
She calls me 2 years later and all of a sudden out of the blue after 0 contact. Now a no show invoice show up in the mail for 4-6-2020.

Wish I could give zero stars. Never thought I would be gaslighted by a mental health professional. She was a half hour late to my appointment and proceeded to charge me for a full hour because it was, “my fault I was late”? She also didn’t remember a single thing I told her from our first appointment, so we spent the entire second appointment recapping. Judging by her responses to other complaints, you can tell the level of professionalism is low.

Always gives encouraging and interactive ways to cope with what you're going through. It's not just sitting and talking about your problems, but finding ways to get through them so you know how to handle the situation better if you ever encounter it again. Feeling very powerful after a life saving session with Dr. Costello . Very professional gave me her undivided attention and even followed up with me before my next session.

Thelma has been an important part of my recovery and personal life. She has helped me tremendously and has put me at ease more times than I can count. I have gotten great advice and solving mechanisms with family and relationship issues. I always go into her office knowing I'm in a safe place. Her office itself is unlike any other therapists office I've been to. It's very inviting, comfy, and serene. I no doubt would recommend Thelma to other people. After seeing several other therapists and losing hope before, I can finally say I believe in therapy and it's benefits. She is always on top of calling
