La Salle School
La Salle School works with adolescent males 12-18, grades 6-12, and who are experiencing significant difficulties in their home, school, or community. The LaSalle School Foundation welcomes donations which supports the development of LaSalle's therapeutic and academic programs and services.

The educational program offers a unique emphasis on addressing academic, social/emotional, and behavioral needs which have interfered with the student's progress in school.A highly structured program with a success-based philosophy surrounds our students with the resources and support needed to function effectively in the classroom.
Services
Founded in 1854 by the De La Salle Christian Brothers to serve abandoned and orphaned boys, LaSalle School is a multi-faceted human services agency. Accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Services for Families and Children (COA), LaSalle's programs are licensed and monitored by the NYS Office of Children and Family Services (OCFS), the NYS Education Department (SED), and the NYS Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services (OASAS).
Dave Wallace joined LaSalle's staff in 2004 and is currently serving as executive director. While at LaSalle. With over 20 years of experience in child welfare, mental health, and juvenile justice, David is a nationally recognized expert in treating youth and families who have experienced sexual abuse and complex trauma.
LaSalle provides a range of community and campus based program services to adolescents and their families designed to address significant risk issues which put their ability to sustain positive growth in jeopardy. On any given day, our programs serve over 150 youth and their families.

Residential Services provides a comprehensive therapeutic milieu, clinical and educational interventions targeting the issues which disrupted their ability to remain at home and in their community.Our residential services offer specialized residential treatment, which meets OCFS's HTP requirements.

These expanded mental health and substance use services, available with NYS Children's Medicaid, give children, youth (under age 21), and their families the power to improve their health, well-being and quality of life. These services are aimed toward strengthening families and help them make informed decisions about their care.
