Balayage is the art of freehand hair painting to create natural looking highlights in the hair. Our signature balayage process and formulation is exclusive to Haus of Pretty. It includes a gloss and finished blowout style. Your hair will feel better than it did prior to this lightening treatment due to the formula boosters and enhancers we include throughout your service!
Sessions with Tim incorporate his philosophy that his creative process will make you will look and feel more beautiful by the end of your appointment. Tim's creative inspiration draws from his adorable little girls - Marlena and Jolene, and professional experience working with world renowned high end brands such as Chanel where he focused on skincare and makeup for 10 years.
Our "On-the-Go Color Kits" are formulated by our experienced and licensed Cosmetologists. Save time and receive the same quality product you would expect in a Salon. Our color kits are different because we are a team of color-correction experts and will personally speak with you via custom virtual consultation to determine your hair color needs!
At Haus of Pretty, we make each client feel and look their best! Every client who walks out of our salon receives a consistent and exemplary customer service experience using our techniques and special products. Haus of Pretty team members have access to perks including opportunities to grow through management and education career paths.
We provide one on one appointments for each session and are unable to answer the phone during the day. If you will be more than 10 minutes late, a text or email is appreciated and we will always do our best to accommodate you if our schedule allows it, otherwise we will help you reschedule for another time.

Just had a fantastic Balayage with TIM - he is beyond wonderful in every possible way. My hair looks better than it ever has - after many years having it colored in NYC at a top Salon. He looked at my hair and made really fantastic suggestions combining high and low lights - my hair now has beautiful highlights and is healthy and shiny and very natural looking. I could not be more pleased, Also the Salon is super clean - and really cheery. I have already booked my next appointment. Highly recommend this Salon.

I got highlights and a haircut with Lauren this past weekend. Due to the pandemic and my pregnancy I hadn't gotten a haircut in 9 months (see that tragic before pic). I had always gotten my hair done in Manhattan and was wary of getting it done in the suburbs (was having nightmares of a chunky highlighted blond bob) but decided to give this place a try. I'm so so so glad I did! The space is immaculate and they have the proper procedures in place to safely get your hair done. There are 2 stylists and everyone had on a mask / I watched the spaces get cleaned in between clients. It

Was hesitant to leave my old hair salon but decided to give Gerri a try & now I’m hooked! I didn’t know what to expect but as soon as I walked in she made me feel so comfortable & welcomed. I used to drive all the way to Brooklyn to get my hair colored -- until I met Kelsey! She is incredible knowledgeable, professional and fun. From the moment I met her, I knew she understood exactly how I wanted my hair to look. I fully trust her every time I'm in her chair. Now she is in a new salon in Saugatuck right by the Westport train station. It's clean and bright, and she always plays great music and has snacks for clients.

My hair has never looked better since going to Haus of Pretty! Kelsey gave me a much needed balayage/color correct and I took the leap and finally got extensions. Kelsey did an amazing job. My hair cut and color looks amazing-I will never go to anyone but Kelsey for all my hair needs! Also, her studio is beautiful and going there is truly an experience!

Kelsey and Lauren went above and beyond for me. Due to random luck, it rained heavily on our engagement photoshoot day. We had to reschedule the next morning but it meant I'd have to do my hair and makeup myself in the early morning. Kelsey was the sweetest and told me she would come early the next morning so I wouldn't be without styling. I also LOVED my hair and makeup, it was natural but enhanced. Lauren did such an amazing job on my makeup, she is a total pro. I'm so glad I got to spend the morning pampered and relaxed in their cute space instead of being stressed out over doing

I get so many compliments on my hair now that I get it done by Kelsey at Haus of Pretty! I have been going to this adorable boutique salon for a year now and I couldn’t be happier with the results. My hair finally feels healthy and looks great. Kelsey is amazing at what she does and has a great eye for detail. I love the natural products that they use for all of their treatments. From my experience, Haus of Pretty does the best balayage and blonde highlights in the area. Highly recommend!

Kelsey is fantastic! From her explanation of the Balayage process to her knowledge of products for my hair conditions, she was extremely helpful in educating me on how to care for my hair. I had been hesitant to do Balayage since I'm used to my dark hair, but I absolutely love how it turned out. She even taught me the beach wave technique so I could style it on my own! I had a great first experience with Kelsey at Haus of Pretty and I'll definitely be back!

I used to travel to Brooklyn to get my hair colored because nobody around here "got me." Well all that changed when I met Kelsey. I have never gotten so many compliments on my hair in my life. She is always professional, knowledgeable, on top of any new trends and techniques. Most importantly, she's really fun and gets when you want to chat or to be quiet. I love that she always has flavored seltzers and snacks on hand, too! Her new salon by the Westport Train Station is gorgeous and feels super relaxing with tons of natural light pouring through the front windows.

She uses great products that smell absolutely amazing and my hair felt so light and airy and it was so soft I could not stop running my fingers through it! She is truly so talented. Kelsey is extremely talented. I had hair and make up done for an event. She did a really nice bun for me that I got a lot of compliments on. He salon is very nice. I love that she has a lot of flexibility in her scheduling too. She literally will accommodate you no matter what if she is in town and any time even if it is on her off days. Very dedicated to her work.
