Johanna is a fabulous colorist! She listened and delivered exactly what I hoped for after asking great questions and explaining what was possible. I have grey-white hair along my hairline that no one else has been able to blend to blonde as well as she did. My haircolor has dimension and depth and I know will grow in well between appointments. She is very talented and I left the salon so happy with my hair.
The salon has a really warm, relaxed, professional vibe. Everyone is nice to each other and each other's clients. You can just relax and be taken care of here, what a pleasure!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Truly the greatest experience i've ever had at a hair salon. Ally at the front desk is an absolute pleasure- she makes a great first impression while booking on phone and when you first walk in. The staff actually listens to what you want to do with your hair while making educated hair suggestions. Crystal asked me all the right questions when it came to doing a cut thats best for MY type of hair. Paul's hair coloring was really impressive, I'm so happy with the color and will definitely be back. Thank you all for such a great experience.

Salon Paul Michael is amazing! Jo always breathes new life into my hair and I leave feeling incredible every time. She listens to me and gives me exactly what I want, but somehow it's always better than I imagined. Everyone on staff who I've engaged with is friendly and kind. Between the customer service, the quality of work, and the luxurious ambiance, I'm very impressed with this salon.

I could not be happier to have worked with Melissa! I came in for overly bleached hair. I wanted it toned down to look natural and it came out perfect. I could see how much thought went into everything that she was doing and I left finally feeling good about my hair. Very happy!

Came here about 2 weeks ago for the first time. I required a private room accommodation which they had, and I felt very comfortable, so I definitely recommend this place for hijabis, and others who may need a private room for other reasons. Susan cut my hair and did a wonderful job. I felt like my specific preferences for the haircut were thoroughly considered alongside her knowledge in the field. Couldn't love my haircut more !! All of the staff is very sweet and the place is beautiful! I'll keep coming here so long as I live in Connecticut :)

I was excited to be seeing Susan in her new Salon. What a bright, modern, open space - with all appropriate safety protocols. And while I would have been eager to have any appointment for regular treatment - cut, color - this was different.
I had recently been diagnosed with cancer and had just begun radiation and chemo treatment. Knowing that Susan had previously taught courses for hair care for cancer patients at a local hospital, I said to her,

A new and delighted fan of Paul Michael. The staff is helpful, kind and very attentive to covid protocols. The salon is bright and comfortable. And best of all - Susan Schwartz. She takes the time to observe and listen to my lifestyle and how much time I can give to my hair before working with me to determine the best cut to both look great, and allow me to maintain it. And, she works magic with my thick, curly hair - it's taken me years to tame. Highly recommend.

Susan Schwartz colors my hair and is EXCELLENT! She always suggests the best colors for me and changes up winter and summer "highlights". She's kind, compassionate and extremely professional. Susan has been coloring and cutting my hair for years and does a wonderful job every time! I always love my highlights, leave the salon with a beautiful style (she can even get my difficult hair to curl!) and she keeps my hair as healthy as can be.
