My balayage was done by Brenda, and she did an amazing job. I went in super nervous but determined for a new hair style and I knew exactly what I wanted. Brenda really did it for me, even better than what I expected. If you're nervous about where to go for a first time appointment, this is the place to go (although I can't speak for the other stylists). Brenda was super professional, knew what she was doing, was super polite and understood exactly what I wanted. As a first time client I was paired with someone who had availability in their schedule on the day I was hoping to get in, and I got so fortunate having Brenda as my stylist :) she did an amaaaazing job on my balayage (I've heard horror stories on balayages so I was weary!) When I moved to Carmel Valley 4 years ago I needed to find a new hair stylist...and I haven't left Vohg since. Carly has always done such a great job giving me the best color and cuts. I love coming here, the atmosphere is so relaxing and the entire staff is so welcoming. I love the long scalp massages when she washes my hair, and all the Oribe hair products I get to try. I can't say enough good things about this place, love love love it!!

Needed a last-minute hair cut and I couldn't get into my regular place. Wanted to love Vohg but when I walked in, stylists turned to me without smiling and turned away. DEAD SILENCE. Vanessa is an absolute wizard. She transformed my hair from jet black hair to a beautifully blended soft balayage. She's sweet, easy going, and really has an eye for color details!

Stylists are rude, entitled, cold, and so unprofessional. I believe the problem lies with the owner, only cares about how many clients can be squeezed into one day. So greedy and condescending. TL;DR: Make sure your stylist knows how to color dark brown hair. Had a horrible "balayage" here and the stylist never returned my messages to try to fix it.

I came here for a balayage a few months ago and it was the only time I ever left a salon close to tears. Carly is truly amazing at creating blonde balayage and highlights with dimension. She is meticulous and precise. Asian hair can be hard to work with when going blonde but Carly does an excellent job every time. I only trust Carly with my hair now and recommend everyone to go to her. I recently moved to a different state and only get my hair done here when I come back to visit.

I'm obsessed with my hair! Vanessa rescued my hair from dull to a beautiful balayage full of dimension and everything I was looking for. I found Vohg hair through a friend and specifically Megan at the salon. I cannot say enough good things about both the salon as well as the stylist.
First of all the salon is in a cute complex with a coffee shop near by and has lots of parking close by. The salon itself is simple, stylish and modern feeling. I was greeted at the door and quickly seated with Megan in minutes.
Megan was so sweet and friendly and easy to talk to. I'm not exaggerating when I say this, my hair cut and color is the best cut and color I have ever had. You know when you see those photos on Pinterest or Instagram

Vanessa is my savior! Not only is she fun to talk to and hilarious, BUT she always kills it with my incredibly thick head of hair. She is very thorough and knows what works and what doesn't. THANK YOU VANESSA!! I mean look at how good my hair looks ;)

NOT a happy customer after my first visit here. I was scheduled for an all over color and small trim. The Stylist V was not very friendly. However, she did listen to what I wanted done. I showed her the color I was using for the past few months. She told me that she did not have that color line and was not sure if the other stylists in the salon carried it. I was told that the salon carries it when scheduling my appt. I was happy stylist V said she could use it to cover my roots but not enough to cover the whole hair/hair ends. I was ok with it since there was no other choice.

I've been having my hair cut by Larissa for at least 8 years now. I followed her to Vogh from a different salon. She's great: relaxed, friendly, professional, on time. I like the Vohg location and the salon is great!

I liked my stylist, she seemed really experienced. The staff were very welcoming and I’ve always like the Oribe hair products, which this salon uses. The only reason it’s not 5-stars is the price. I payed a ridiculous amount for a haircut and there was nothing super special about the service; no drinks offered, exc. I usually get my hair done at another salon/spa on the 101, so I know it’s pricey but I felt even for that this was overpriced.

I recommended this salon and stylist Carly to a friend and I was severely disappointed with her service!! She was very unprofessional and left my friend wasting $400 on botched highlights when she asked for a balayage. I feel horrible for recommending this place to my friend. save your money, time and tears.

Unprofessional and overpriced. I went in and asked for a balayage and received a few streaky highlights. When I asked the stylist, Carly, if she could fix it, I was told she couldn’t fit me in for 2+ weeks. When the day finally came, she told me she was all booked and then proceeded to ignore my texts and BLOCKED me on instagram. I paid almost $400 for something I didn’t even ask for. I do not recommend going here, you can get much better service for half the price anywhere else.

I had my hair cut and colored by Monica and she was PHENOMENAL! Not only did she do a beautiful job, but she covered up hair color from another stylist that I was really unhappy with. The fact that she didn't even need a "clean slate," and how naturally she blended the color blew me away. I could also tell that she used really high quality products and my hair felt amazing afterward.
The salon is really stylish but also inviting - I definitely felt like I was hanging out with some good friends the entire time I was there. I'm so happy I found it!

Best Salon in North County. Everyone in there is truly talented. And I like the clean, sleek space. Oribe products are a huge plus.. Its all I use. (Although the R & Co dry shampoo that they carry has me hooked as well.) And the owner has the best energy, which I appreciate. 5 stars.

I got a great cut and color here from the owner. I felt like I paid too much but she is, truth be told, somewhat of an artist, so I have to recommend her, despite the price. Meaning, it was worth it, I would do it again. And again. I did not appreciate the push for Oribe. Although, albeit, a great line.
