I've been coming to this Salon for a few years since I live a few blocks away. I normally get a blowout and it usually is great as long as you fit into their time frame. If you book an extra service you better make sure you arrive on time otherwise you don't get it even if you are 2 mins late. I booked an appointment for my daughter to have her hair done. It came out horrible she ruined her hair. They did agree and they had her back to correct without the cost of course but they ruined it even worse than before. I called a couple of days later to let them know but never received a callback

I've been to this salon a few times now as it's local and convenient. I always book a color, usually just the roots and a blowout. The blowouts have been pretty good and I've been rather satisfied with the service until today.
Recently, I booked a full color online, to get color throughout my hair (NO blowout this time). When I booked the appointment online I included a note stating that I have long hair in case they needed to allot more time or color, etc... Well I get to my appt this morning 15 minutes early and had no problem waiting. I like getting to places early!

Website had 3 appointments available. I pick one and schedule my appt, I get a call less than a minute later saying It's been taken. Couldn't squeeze me in. Offers a 4pm appt instead. The original time was for 10am. If someone is booking in the morning, what makes you think the evening will work? Frustrating. Will not be trying again

They just cancelled my appointment scheduled for tomorrow morning - less than a day notice, with other places already booked of course. I am basically left with no hair service because I chose this place. Do NOT book if you want to receive service because they will drop you hours before your appointment and will not bother what you are going to do.

I came here 2 months ago to get my hair styled for a wedding which was a wonderful experience since it was my first time getting this type of service. I was looking forward to coming in today to get my hair done for my birthday when they cancelled my appointment this morning which was booked in advanced for 12 pm and insisted it to be moved to 4 pm where I would be down in San Diego already. I saw Naomi to style my hair for a photo shoot that I was having done. I wanted big curls but my hair doesn't hold them very well and the photo shoot was a couple of hours after my hair appointment so I was worried they wouldn't hold until then. I don't know what she did, but by the time my shoot came around, the curls were perfect! I just saw a couple of sneak peeks of the pictures and my hair is exactly how I wanted it! I have been trying to get my hair bright blonde for 4 years and for some reason every time I left the salon, I could hardly tell my hair was highlighted. I almost gave up and flew to Sacramento to have my best friend do it. I also just started using sun-in to see if I could do it myself. Dhamar was awesome and everyone loves my bright blonde hair!
The only thing I didn't like was having to pay $50 to get my hair blow dryed at the end. I prob would just leave wet next time but I wanted to see how the blonde turned out since it's been such a struggle for so long.

I called to use my blowouts from August and they couldn't find me in system. I stopped by and noticed it was filthy and front desk was super rude. Stylists are unprofessional and dont get trained properly in hair blow dry styles. They act like you are there to serve them instead of vice versa. Guy who did my hair was dressed unprofessionally and I heard some of the stylist talking about other guests. Hair was supp0osed to be curled and instead it was frizzy . I have been here a number of times and am going there because of the value and especially because my Stylist is Gabby.. she is ultra talented, kind, listens, and does her magic, she always has my care in her hands and does not take that for granted. she is so professional and friendly and not only does her services on me with the best products and skills she has she is fast. As a licensed cosmetologist I normally just do my own hair but I didn’t feel like it today. I called around (on a Saturday) and couldn’t get in anywhere...in fact I’m still waiting for another salon to call me back lol. Finally I called Pure blow out bar. They were able to get me in at a time that was convenient for me.
Angelo did and amazing job! I can’t stop playing with my hair. It smells AMAZING, feels soft to the touch and moves naturally; exactly what I had wanted. I’m spoiled now and I don’t I’m gonna go back to doing my own hair again haha! (◕ᴗ◕✿)! Very reasonably

The vibe of this place is very relaxed and chill. You can tell all the stylist work as a team and are friends. Sit down relax and it's as if I'm talking to my own persona physiologist.
If you stop by checkout their memberships. Its an awesome value to be able to come in basically anytime I want to get a service for a low membership fee.
I also learned that the staff have monthly in services to ensure they are kept up to date on the latest trends.
This is one blow bar that will literally blow
