One of the oldest established businesses in Baird, Texas, Parker-Jacobs Funeral Home is a continuation of a long-time Callahan County funeral service tradition started around the turn of the 20th century as Schwartz Furniture and Undertaking Company. Roger "Skip" and Pat Parker moved to Baird in 1977 as co-owners, and assumed full ownership in 1979.

I cannot express enough our thankfulness to Clay Jacobs and staff with Parker-Jacobs Funeral home in Baird, Texas. We planned, from North Carolina, a memorial service to be held in Baird. Mr. Jacobs was patient, knowledgeable, helpful and kind during the entire process. This funeral home went above and beyond with every detail. I highly recommend the services of Parker-Jacobs Funeral Home.
