These are all starting prices. All prices subject to change based on time and effort reflected in service. Some appointments require a Complimentary consultation which must be booked before date of desired service. All haircuts include a relaxing shampoo, scalp massage, and blowout/style *Additional charges may apply for iron work * For curl specific haircuts, please see "Deva Curl" section below.

A little over six years ago, my beautiful daughter was born and my life was changed for the better. Right then and there, life had a different purpose and I knew I needed something more for us.
Deva Curl is a dry cutting method customized to each individual curl, shape and pattern. Following the cut, you will receive a complete Deva wash and style while our Deva Specialist walks you through each step thoroughly so you will easily be able to recreate the same look at home. Prepping for your Deva Cut: Please come in with your hair clean- light to no product, dry and worn down in its natural curly state- No pony tails, braids, or buns.
Here at Embellish Hair Studio, we care about the safety of our clients. Cezanne is a smoothing treatment that is 100% formaldehyde-free. It's also free from any other kinds of aldehydes and harmful toxins, and it's as long-lasting as the current top products. Cezanne's unique blend of ingredients is non-toxic, naturally safe, and effective.

I chose this salon because I always like going to someone who knows how to cut curly hair. My hair is combination wavy and curly ends and doesnt need a deva style curl cut. The salon has great reviews and I understand why but I'm choosing to leave 2 stars because I felt very rushed through the door, the service I asked for was to have my hair cut with the wash and dry, what I ended up paying for was a dry cut which was considered a deva curl express cut even though I said I didnt want a deva cut I only wanted to add additional layers to get weight off my hair.

The owner, Emily, is very knowledgeable on naturally curly hair. Her staff are also very friendly. I have tight curls and everytime she does my hair, I am very pleased with the cut and updo that I am given. If I could give a higher star rating, I would. She always goes above and beyond on services and it is very noticeable that when I am there, other clients are very pleased as well.

The staff is super welcoming and friendly and you can just feel the positive vibe within the team there. Mackenzie helped me achieve a look I’ve been considering for a long time with expertise and ease. I’m so obsessed with how my hair turned out! Additionally, she was super easy to talk with and it felt like my hair was cut by someone I had already known for a while. My first experience there was super enjoyable and I am excited to go back! Would definitely recommend coming here for your hair needs.

If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! There are hair studios in the Blacksburg/Christiansburg area but the 40 minute drive to Embellish is totally worth it! I came in with little idea of what I wanted only knowing that I wanted my untamed shoulder-length mop to be a pixie. I was worried a pixie would not look good with how thick and dense my hair is, but Mackenzie hit the nail on the head. I left holding back tears of joy and gratitude. I had a curly hair haircut with Emily. I think she is an expert in curls, but for my wavy hair it wasn't as good of a fit. I didn't think the service was very personalized, but probably would have been perfect for someone with very curly hair. It felt a bit product focused, and I was mostly hoping for a really good cut to add bounce to some of my more limp areas.

Emily did an exceptional job on my hair today. She fit me into the schedule last minute and went above and beyond what I expected. I’ve never been so happy with my hair before and I will definitely be coming back! If you’re looking for a new stylist and are thinking about going to Embellish I would highly recommend it.
