Services
At IPT, we realize the financial and emotional impact that results when someone gets hurt on the job. We work with employers, case managers, physicians, and other healthcare professionals every day to help injured employees return to work quickly and reduce the likelihood of further injury. All new patients are seen within 24 hours of their referral date, and same day appointments are also available.
Indiana Physical Therapy offers outpatient programs for patients of all ages in the areas of Trauma, Stroke, Brain Injury, Neuro Muscular Disease and Workplace Injury. We strive to maintain a close relationship among the patient, the therapist and the referring physician. In some situations an independent case manager joins the treatment team to assure that an optimal rehabilitation plan is in place.
Occupational therapy is a skilled intervention that is intended for children and adults with health conditions that significantly affect their ability to manage their daily lives and need to regain their independence. We specialize in the evaluation and treatment of adults as well as pediatrics with a variety of conditions.
At Indiana Physical Therapy we provide physical therapy for people who have an injury or dysfunction of an orthopedic nature. Orthopaedics means your musculoskeletal system which include the bones, joints, ligaments, tendons, muscles and peripheral nerves of your extremities and spine. Our physical therapists can also provide care for someone who has had a mild stroke or other nervous system impairment.
The Sports Medicine branch of Indiana Physical Therapy has been established since the company's inception back on 8/8/88, which just happened to coincide with the first ever night game at Wrigley Field, home of the Chicago Cubs. Sports related injuries can be both acute and chronic in nature, occurring from obvious trauma or subtly over time from an overuse situation.
