Services
Kalee is the 4th generation Sholdt owner. She learned everything she knows about the family business from her dad, Brian Sholdt and uncle, Dusty Sholdt. As the boss lady, she wears lots of hats. From designing, to managing the Sholdt Instagram account, to meeting with clients, she does it all! When Kalee isn't in the office, she enjoys wine tasting, travel and entertaining in her backyard.
With over 40 years of custom design experience, Sholdt, has earned a distinguished reputation among both our peers in the jewelry industry as well as our clients. Designing is a collaborative process- we listen, review ideas, and provide suggestions based on our client's individual style vision.

My ring is everything I could have ever wanted. It's not like every other ring you see. The kite setting is unique but it also has a classic vintage vibe. I feel so proud every day having such a beautiful piece of art to represent our love. Noelia raved about the experience with Sholdt and I can't wait to come back and select my wedding ring!
Approximately 4-5 weeks. However, if you need it sooner, don't hesitate to ask as we will accommodate your request if possible. We cast Platinum, sterling silver 14k and 18k yellow gold, rose gold & white gold in house yes, there is nickel in the white gold we use. If you have a nickel allergy, we suggest platinum or palladium instead.
My fiance Noelia worked with Michelle and together they designed the ring of my dreams. My ring is everything I could have ever wanted. It's not like every other ring you see. Great family run business, absolutely beautiful jewelry designs, and so much fun to work with. We purchased our engagement and wedding rings from Sholdt 9 years ago, which was an excellent experience all in itself, however I just wanted to give a quick review of how awesome they are even beyond that. After 9 years, my wife accidentally knocked one of the side diamonds out of her engagement band. We live on the East Coast now, but were going to be in Seattle for a matter of days visiting family. My wife called to see if they would be able to get us in to repair it during the short time we were there

Great for custom pieces ( I have two and they are gorgeous!) but I have noticed they fall short when it comes to the sizing work they did for me. I’ve had two rings sized down and both were done poorly unfortunately.
The second I took elsewhere to be fixed and the quality is less then when I brought it in. So, I just won’t be doing any repair work with them in the future.
Overall this is a wonderful place for custom pieces but I would take my rings elsewhere from now on the be sized. ❤️

Kalee and her team are truly the best! I am celebrating my ten year anniversary and wanted to upgrade my rings. Kalee was recommended to me by family members that have used her in the past.
I not only wanted an upgrade, but I needed advice because I kept getting a terrible rash on my ring finger. Kalee was able to identify the issue. My diamond was set in white gold and the band was a bit too tight.
She did such a amazing job! She even managed to get the size absolutely perfect without even sizing my finger.
I will continue to buy jewelry from her and will recommend her to everyone.

Kalee has been a blast to work with and so accommodating. We drove up on short notice from Bend, Or and she spent a friday morning with us helping pick out the perfect diamond and setting. Fast forward and again, on short notice, we were able to get in and pick out the bands. The rings are beautiful and I couldn’t be happier with the experience!! Can’t recommend enough.

Sholdt is an old-line Seattle jeweler that custom fabricates wedding sets and other jewelry and also does repairs. I've taken several rings and other things to them for years to get sized and/or repaired, and also admired the jewelry they make that sells in stores. Just gorgeous designs!
Love, love, love these people. They're always so friendly and helpful and their work is well-priced. No snooty jewelry store ambience here!

We don't live close by, but were so excited to come in. We drove over an hour to get to our appointment and when we arrived the shop had closed early without notifying us.
After multiple unanswered phone calls and an email thinking that this couldn't be right, we left... The next day I received a text message from Kalee apologizing for dropping the ball on our appointment.

I was extremely happy shopping for an engagement ring. I spent two days , an hour or more each time with Kallee Sholdt learning about options, diamonds, cuts, rings over and over. she made sure that i got what i wanted and the price that i could afford. she made the experience fun and rewarding, always patient and with humor.

This is the kind of business I love to shop with: Small, family-owned, with personal, attentive customer service. A friend of mine recommended Sholdt to me when I mentioned I still have my old wedding and engagement rings, sitting in a drawer for years. Such a waste, but you can't really wear the rings when you no longer have the spouse that came with them.
So, I made an appointment with Dara and brought a handful of diamonds and sapphires to see what she might be able to do.

Kalee and her staff at Sholdt are fantastic. I bought an engagement ring and two wedding bands from her for my wedding this past September. I would have to say I'm a guy that knows a little about a lot of things, but I would be lying to you if I said I knew/know anything about jewelry. When it came to finding the right ring to ask the right women to marry me, I had no clue where to start. We bought our wedding bands from Sholdt this past Spring and were very glad to have done so! They did an awesome job on both bands and thought their hours were a bit inconvenient for our schedule it was really great getting to meet with Kalee one on one and see our options versus being in a crowded jewelry store. The shop dog, Pearl, is also really sweet and it just ads an element of comfort to what's normally, in my opinion, an awkward experience.

The ring we ordered looks exactly like we wanted. So they did great on that end but it was too large. Due to how elaborate it was I had to pay to get it resized. Which I completely understood. Then when I got the ring back it was still too large and through the emails with them they kept blaming me for it. When I asked my options they told me i would once again have tip pay more to get it fixed. When i emailed them about this I never heard back from them. That was a month and a half ago. Every day i story my wedding band will fall off.

Five years later we found ourselves living in Seattle, and my engagement ring randomly separated where they size the ring (in the back). I contacted Kalee--and as soon as I could drive to her, she and her staff fixed my ring, and rhodium plated my engagement ring, and wedding ring for free while my son and I had a coffee.

My fiancee and I picked out my engagement ring here and I can't be happier with the service, design process, and final product. I'm an interior designer and my fiancee is an architect, so we both were very picky up the aesthetic and details, but didn't know much about band materials, types and cuts of stones, etc. We used one of Sholdt's designs as a base point, and then made our own customizations. They will make sure to get the ring of your dreams and if they don't have it, you can work with them to customize and design it. And the best part is that they make sure you stay within your budget! they are a local store located in Seattle and family owned and run for many decades! Love all the choices and styles. When I told the sales rep at Johannes Hunter Jewelers in Colorado Springs the types I felt I was leaning towards (simple yet different and non-traditional) but had not stumbled across the right one, she steered my attention to a case containing a small selection of Sholdt rings. As soon as I saw them, I knew immediately that Sholdt was the designer I wanted to work with.

I got both my engagement ring and my wedding band from Sholdt and I had such a great experience working with them. The unique design, the quality of work and friendly and accommodating staff - they are by far my favorite wedding vendor.
Let me start by saying that I found their rings to be beautiful and unique. They have a good selection of styles and all of their rings, from the classic solitaires to art-deco inspired, have some interesting design details.

My fiance and I had had the great luck of meeting Kalee Sholdt when she went to Washington, DC in October to show some of Sholdt's ring designs at a jewelry design exhibition that I.Gorman jewelers hosted. We had been talking with Bonnie Gorman of I.Gorman about a particular ring design we had in mind, and when Bonnie connected us to Kalee, we knew the fun was about to begin!

My wedding and engagement rings are both from Sholdt, and I am 100% happy with them every single day. They are rings I am very proud to wear. The designs are modern takes on classic styles, and the quality is outstanding--so is the value. I love my rings so much that I told a girlfriend about them, and now she has a Sholdt engagement ring! She'll get her wedding ring from Sholdt next year. For something you'll wear the rest of your life, you have to go with something classic, well-made, and original, and Sholdt covers all those bases with ease.
