The health and well-being of all of our patients, staff, and therapists are of our utmost concern. Here at Psychology and Counseling Associates, we will continue to provide high-quality care to our surrounding community. Telehealth services are available for both new and existing patients so that we can provide treatment in the comfort of your home during this outbreak.

Existing patients should contact their providers to talk about how this will be implemented. Our administrative staff are available to answer your phone calls and to help schedule appointments for new patients. Our compassionate providers always look at the whole person, taking into account the social, psychological, and medical factors that affect each life.
Services
We utilize the gold standard assessments in the field, including the Autism Diagnostic Interview, Revised (ADI-R) and the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule, Second Edition (ADOS-2), to determine whether a child or adolescent's clinical presentation and history are consistent with an Autism Spectrum Disorder diagnosis.
Many insurance companies require a presurgical psychological evaluation in order to schedule surgery. At Psychology and Counseling Associates, we have several psychologists trained to conduct these types of evaluations. Most commonly, we provide evaluations for people who are considering bariatric surgery and for people who are considering spinal cord stimulator implantation.
I am very pleased to say that here at PCA, we have a welcoming and dedicated administrative team. They all work very hard to match you to the appropriate therapist, and to ensure your questions are answered in a timely manner. Our staff understands that it can be very difficult to make the first call to get help, so they take great care to make sure each call is a warm and positive experience.
We accept most major insurances, including: Aetna, Keystone Health Plan East, Personal Choice, United Behavioral Health, Cigna, Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Highmark, Medicare, and Value Options. We also participate with several smaller insurance companies in addition to several Employee Assistance Programs.
We want to make your experience with Psychology & Counseling Associates (PCA) as easy and comfortable as possible. We hope that the information below will help you access our services more easily. If you are experiencing difficulty reaching us, please e-mail us at contact@psychologyandcounseling.net and an office staff person will contact you shortly.

Apparently they will charge you an additional $65.00 for a "missed appointment" that you didn't even know you had (no appointment confirmations or reminders). Then, when you try to call for help and clarification either no one answers or no one can help. Highly disappointed.

Reading all of these negative reviews makes me feel so bad for this practice! I have been working with a therapist from this practice for a little over 7 months and it has been very helpful. Every person I’ve spoken to on the phone has been friendly, professional and nice. Try and ignore the bad reviews and give this practice a shot if you are looking for one in this area!

Needed information transferred to my general practitioner. They straight up refused. Glad I moved on.

Highly highly recommend Dr. Anthony Matteo. His approach of examining one’s feelings as linked to past traumas and events is groundbreaking and lifesaving. He will teach you coping skills to help you unlearn behaviors that are detrimental to your mental health.

The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. Every time I need their assistance they reply quickly and efficiently.
I’ve seen two psychologists who were both great, professional and helpful.
Ps: Dr Amy Cornell is the best psychologist I’ve ever had so I truly recommend her!
