Erica Burns Photography Massapequa Park, NY

In 1993, I asked my dad to buy me a film SLR camera for a photography class I was taking; it ignited a passion. Over the years I amassed dozens of photo albums but only felt that photography was a hobby and not something I could do full time, until 2011 when I found out that I was being excessed (laid off) from my teaching position.

I turned to my husband and told him that what I really wanted to do was become a family and children photographer, so I upgraded my equipment and took a HUGE leap of faith into photography. I decided to follow my dream and do what truly makes me happy and I haven't looked back! Working with children has been something that comes naturally to me, so it was a no-brainer to specialize in children and family photography.

I have created three different packages so that you can choose the package that fits your needs best. I will tell you that my style of photography does result in a wide variety of images and it does make it hard to choose your images. In all my sessions I seek to create a unique experience and capture your love and connection.

Not only is Erica an incredibly talented photographer, but she's a pleasure to work with! While she specializes in newborn, children, family and event photography, my company has worked with her on several occasions (most recently for professional headshots) and her photos continue to exceed expectations! My house is covered in the gorgeous pictures that Erica has taken of my family, both individually and all together. Somehow she has managed to capture beautiful moments from my otherwise completely uncooperative toddler, and I always get tons of compliments on our holiday cards.
