The quality of meat is unsurpassed by any Carniceria up here. They always have the freshest selections. The meat you buy at the counter is the same meat they serve in the restaurant which is quite nice and it saves you quite a bit of money if you take it home and cook it yourself. If you prefer they can cook it for you but it's quite a bit more :-)

I've been in this "restaurant" twice, once about 5 months ago and then again today.
The first time they had just opened for the day... I walked in and seen TRASH overflowing in the trashcan when I first walked in the floors were unswept the bar counter VERY dirty!
Today I figured they may have had a bad day the last time... NO! People were actually eating in there and again the dirt was evident! I went to the bar and again it was FILTHY at 1:30 in the afternoon!
The Bartender looked at me and didn't even say hello she just kept on making her drinks.
I asked if she would clean the bar counter

Had some of the best broth.. would highly recommend it. They made sure to put so much extra ingredients in the order ... onions cilantro lemons the whole shabang. I definitely am impressed. . I also ordered a hibiscus tea Which was home made and that was delicious as well . If anyone complains , I honestly just don’t understand. pastor tacos ... omfg..:

If this is my opportunity to complain to the Kooks, make it to the owner, then I'll take it.
I was supposed to get a mini super quesadilla, but all I'm in case super quesadilla is is a quesadilla with meat. Nothing really super about it so I call it super. When I got three pieces, I had already eaten too and I realized there was no meat. I went back to talk to the Kooks and this is what they gave me. A pile of me on top of the last piece of quesadilla. I went back to talk to the person who took our order and he Shrugged his shoulders and said well it's the cooks fault.
