Haley Residential was founded in 1992 as DEI Communities by Jack Haley upon his return to Omaha after decades of distinguished service in the United States Air Force.
Under his leadership and personal efforts, the company grew to well over $60 million in multi-family holdings operating more than 2,000 units by 1998. Here Jack worked with his father for the Union Pacific Railroad until he graduated from Valley High School in 1953. Jack earned a degree in electrical engineering from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln before joining the United States Air Force in 1958.

This company does not offer auto-pay services for their renters. Every monthly billing service like your cellphone bill allows for you to choose to pay the bill in full, fully automated. I believe this company is trying to get more cashflow from tenants by making it a higher chance that their renters will miss a payment and get penalized. They only offer a certain amount to be debited, so if the renters over pays then the money is stuck in their Rentcafe account. They need to allow a “pay up to amount” option or a “pay in full” option.

I called 5 times to confirm the availability of the apartment. I was told it is available. I was asked to complete the application.
After filing my application, I am being told that they did not have any apartments available for move-in. They accidentally put the model apartment for rent. Why did u not confirm that prior to taking all my personal information? Frustrating!!

I lived in one of their properties for 2 years! Always paid my rent on time. My lease ended 7/9/2021 and it is now 10/19/2021 and have yet to receive my agreed security deposit refund that I have been told comes from the main company Haley Residential. The refund has supposedly been mailed to me 3 times all of which were apparently lost in the mail because they do have my correct address. Then I was told by the property I lived at that they would send it directly to the properties office so I could pick it up and now that has been 2 to 3 weeks and they still haven't called me! What a Rip off!

Moved in on 8/10 to this horrible disgusting apartment in Lawton Oklahoma. Got told that a manager will call us on Monday. Obviously not an importance or an emergency for their team. The team is horrible and has been unable to assist. They expect us to live in a uninhabitable house while they are relaxing comfortably in their home on the weekend. Disgusting house, disgusting customer service. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!!!!!!! They only show the decent homes when they post pictures. They do not show the terrible homes they actually have in the complex.

Horrible business and do not care about their renters... nothing is their fault and your car ypur child and yourself is never safe security is at the bottom of the list.. they do not care if you feel in danger or threatened , they will tell you not our problem.. terrible business 1 out 5 star rating with the better business bureau. and good luck speaking to anyone that isn't a V.P they have many... run the other direction if you know they own the property. sign no lease and run!!! liers and thieves... not just in Nebraska but all over the country.. deplorable living conditions and drug infested

I would give them minus stars if I could. Very very very poor maintenance . Apts are decent but the WORST maintenance service EVER. Year 3 with them coz it’s the location works for us but REGRET renewing lease with them. Lots of incidences happened over the last couple of years. Worst one is the most recent
1. Our masterbedroom ceiling had a crack : legit a few centimeters crack and coming down. We call after hours emergency, they don’t consider it as an “emergency”. Said someone will come by “ first thing in the Morning “ to fix it. Day 2 it’s even further
