After going to someone else and them not fixing my cars air conditioning for 8 weeks, I tried Durkee who came highly recommended by a friend. They were on time, did great work and gave up front pricing before doing the job. It is fixed and I crank it up on these exceptionally hot days. I would recommend them to every one.

My neighbor referred me to Durkee Automotive, when I moved to Delaware, almost 20 years. The service from the mechanic to their office staff has always been wonderful. They are honest in their work and would advise if their are lesser options for service or parts , I trust them completely. I always refer them to others.

Best local mechanics around. I moved down to Delaware maybe 2 years ago. Tired of driving back to PA to my old mechanic. Seen other reviews about Durkee and decided to give them a try. It has been nothing short of great. Honest mechanics with an honest price. They do not try and up sale you. They let you know what the problem is and what it takes to fix. Good, straight, honesty. If they feel that the issue can be looked at during your next visit they will let you know. They always call and ask if it is ok to proceed with what issues they found instead of just doing it. I cant say enough great things

I've been a customer of Durkee Automotive for over 15 years. They've helped me maintain everything from brand new cars to beaters bought off auction and they've done everything from routine maintenance to major repairs. I've never left a Yelp review before, but this shop deserves one. I have long since moved from living just around the corner and I still make the 45 minute drive, passing several mechanics along the way. This place had good reviews. I called the place up and asked if they do AC repairs. Told them that my AC blows warm air. I have tried to do my own freon and when the pressure is up the compressor kicks in but after a few days the pressure drops and the compressor wont work anymore. Im presuming its a leak. I want it diagnosed to see what the issue was.
Dropped the car off the night before and got a call the next day. Lady said its low in pressure and it needs freon. I told her i already put freon in it and after a few days it woulds stop working. She then said we cant be sure u put enough in

Doug,Wes and Tim know their stuff! I previously was taking my truck to B&D and Schilling. Schilling Auto is good, but can be overpriced,and B&D well, there's a review on them on my profile. The prices are fair, and the guys will explain anything if you have questions for them.
They are great with diagnostics, the problem that I had B&D not being able to fix for three months and $1700 later, Doug and Wes figured out in an a few hours. My truck has been running great ever since.
