Services
JRM therapeutic services assists couples, family, children and individuals develop in their unique personal journeys through compassionate, personalized counseling. We believe that every person is unique and every situation different. That's why we utilize an individualized, interactive, and solution-focused approach.
Joelle was there for me with her expertise, insights and compassion during a time when my family was in crisis, trying to navigate the fear and unknowns surrounding my son's battle with anorexia. She gave me support and encouragement during a time when my life was completely destabilized. She helped me to remember my inner-strength and gave me the hope to carry on, step by step as my family made its way to the path of healing and recovery.

Joelle is still in business? It is not a surprise for me to see the negative reviews she got. Indifferent, cold-hearted, and cruel are all I can say about her.
This is only a money making machine for her. She cares nothing about patients' well-being.
She accused me for a whole session because a miscommunication of office procedure. Her procedure was different from the therapists I went to before. She caused me a major depression breakdown and crying, showed me the door and kicked me out of her practice.
I am surprised she is still in business. She must be very skillful in pretending

I have had the pleasure of working with Massiel, but everyone in the office was very professional, timely and had excellent customer service. The office is very comfortable, inviting, and warm. Massiel was especially warm, empathic, and concerned with my all of my therapeutic needs. I found scheduling appointments to be very easy. There are affordable licensed therapists who offer the same services and are professional. This business is not. I was initially hoping to work with Joelle (seemed more experienced) but her schedule could not accommodate (4+ weeks out) so ended up with one of her staff Massiel.

An amazing experience for which Joelle and her team are the cause. Joelle is a dedicated, immensely-qualified, and compassionate therapist with an incredible depth of knowledge and seemingly limitless patience and understanding. Her interpersonal manner is honest and no-nonsense, while the business's administrative management is top notch. Whether it was scheduling, billing, or late notice changes, the front office was incredibly flexible and did such a wonderful job. I've known Joelle for a few years now, as a colleague, consultant, supervisor, and a kind and genuine woman. In time of difficulty, I came to her for guidance, and she provided wonderful clinical feedback, emotional support, and empathy of a trusted friend. And she had only known me for a short time then. Later, I have referred many clients to her, and continuously witness how her kindness, professionalism and care for patients extend well beyond the call of duty (we work in the same office, btw). This psychologist is about the money, veteran care is an after thought.. Have veterans services send you to another psychologist practice. Not impressed with care or communication.
I am editing my post to clarify: I was directed by Veteran Services to this psychologist. I thought I was going to see Joelle Maletis and after 3 appointments with an intern it never happened. I would have expected the psychologist with whom I would be doing therapy to at the very least meet me to establish rapport, explain the process, confidentiality, and intake. Instead I was told she had a 3 week waiting list and

I am active duty military. Joelle has been absolutely amazing in helping myself and others that I know. She has always been there to help when I need it. One thing she does is that she isn't shy about letting me know if I am just being too sensitive, that I need to pull up my boots and ruck on!
