The final printout of the appraisal included a picture, description, story of the meaning of the piece for my family and today's value of the piece. I first went to Geolat 3 yrs ago, right after I moved to Dallas. I needed some jewelry appraised for a new homeowners policy. Geolat was close and well rated. After my experience, I would drive whatever the distance. While I didn't have many pieces, I was treated as if I had come in with a treasure trove of jewelry. The appraisal report prepared by Geolat was praised by my insurers as one of the most thorough they had seen. Around 6 months ago, I could not find the report. Being a normal guy I don't go around getting jewelry appraised very often so this was a very new experience for me. All in all, they made the process as smooth as possible. They do not keep the article, it's returned to you while you're there.
You won't find this place advertising because all their work comes from referrals which means they're clearly doing something right. It's tucked back inside a professional complex with a very secure and well operated feel to the place.
