Silver Dollar Bar & Grill

I would give this a five star if the waitress did her job right. I asked for a Cesar salad and she brought out potato salad. She didn't check on us until she brought the check.

I have eaten twice at the Silver dollar and will go back. Food is very good! Service is also very good. Recommend the chicken pot pie and the French dip sandwich. Also, the potato salad was very good and surprising. It is unique. Enjoy!

Stopped in for lunch will visiting for the day. It was quite packed, as its one of the only grills in town. We ordered a cup of chili and a cup of the corn chowder to start, both of the soups were very good. Next I had the reuben and my partner had the bison burger. Both were pretty standard, nothing to rave about but nothing to dog on either. Overall the service, drinks, and food were all satisfactory.

Great food! Had my birthday dinner here while in town on vacation. Actually ate here twice! Bison chili, Elk gyros & Jenny Lake Lager was delicious & so was the Chocolate Lava Cake. The service here was impeccable each time I visited.

Stopped in late night, service was very prompt and helpful. Food was very delicious and presented well. I would recommend trying the quail,meatloaf and trout.

Went to what seemed like an open mic and was able to enjoy a lot of good music on Monday and came back by on Tuesday to enjoy some more. I am staying at the attached hotel named The Wort. Not being from the area, I was unaware that all the local food stopped by 10pm but the staff was super nice and put in a to go order for me even though it was 9:55pm. The hostess asked Aaron if it was too late and he was able to take care of me. He got me a chicken quesadilla. Super thankful that they helped me as I may have had a few extra drinks and was relying on the local pizza joint to be open...my mistake

We got there too early for the dinner dishes and decided to have drinks and apps to wait until 5:30. I got the bison chili. It was really good and thick with meat. My wife ordered the bison/elk meatballs. Those freaking meatballs were perfectly cooked, covered with gooey cheese and in a sweet hot bbq sauce. When dinner service started, I just ordered another meatball app and my wife ordered the smoked trout. We thoroughly enjoyed everything about our meal. And the waitstaff was attentive without hovering.

Wonderful! Was here for dinner and drinks with my mom who 58 years ago she and my dad celebrated their honeymoon here. With my dad now gone, this trip held special meaning for her and for me. The service was great. The food was good and the people in the Silver Dollar were fun and kind. It’s my kind of place and it was a wonderful celebration for us.

Friendly staff and the food was pretty good. Can't wait to try again. Ordered tyo much just so I could sample a bit if everything. If you want quieter, wait until after 530 when the restaurant opens. The bar area can be loud. The history is on the drink menu.

I am posting my message to the General Manager as it details the horrors of our trip and to serve as a warning for any prospective guests as there is much better in Jackson. Also, beware as a lot of people and even one staff member we saw are not wearing masks.

We had visited the Wort on two other instances in 2016 and 2017 and had a wholly different experience than our last visit from March 15-20.

To begin, I sent an inquiry regarding a repeat guest rate as anywhere else we have stayed on more than one occasion always offers typically 20% off their best rate. I received an email from Mr. Zazzaro

Love this hotel! The staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms and hotel are beautiful. Lots of little extras. This is our first day of the week stay here but so far love it

I was greeted by the concierge, who offered professionalism and hospitality. He is working on coordinating excursions for us while we prepare for the evening. The property is immaculate and well appointed. This just leaves me wanting a return visit!!

Nice evening out with GF’s during a Covid moment. Cocktail waitress friendly and knowledgeable. Live country music was refreshing! Sorry dancing is not allowed!

Decorations are beautiful for Christmas Chris (he) the host was so full of fun energy and our stop for cocktails turned into dinner Large portions and fun live music

Just got here but boy it’s so beautiful. The people and staff have been super and the rooms are SPLENDID. Highly recommend a western themed suite. They are currently decorating for Christmas. I cannot wait to see the finished product!

After many people recommending The Wort Hotel we decided to go and check it out. Well once we walked in we were informed we had less than an hour to enjoy the Silver Dollar Bar, they were having a private party and we needed to order our food in the next 10 minutes. Well we should have taken the hint and left.
We ordered a couple of craft beers, they were served nice and cold. Ordered Nachos, Tempura Fried Mushrooms and French Onion Soup.
Nachos had been heated up under the broiler guacamole tasted like the store bought pouch, shredded beef was not warm at all, sour cream was a big scoop

Great burger and desert in hymns historic bar! Waitress/staff was phenomenal! Great last night in town experience!

One of our favorite hotels we've stayed at. We stayed in the Shoshone Suite and the decor is so on brand and room is large and beautiful. We were also made to feel right at home - from the front desk staff to the housekeepers to the bartenders downstairs! Everyone has been amazing. Wonderful, quaint hotel, and very well maintained. We left for breakfast, returned at 9am and room was already cleaned. And when we first checked in and went to dinner, room was tidied up when we returned. Impeccable housekeeping. We hope to come back!

This hotel is amazing! It really has a lot of character, and I feel like I'm getting a true Wyoming experience. Very Western and homey, but not TOO homey. The one thing in specific that drove me to write this review is the fact that they have LIQUID hand soap at the sink - not the crappy soap bars in the packages! I feel like that soap just made my stay so much less stress free, funny enough. They also had free cookies and warm apple cider waiting for us when we got back from dinner. The hotel is also situated very close to the town square so we loved being within short distance of everything

Beautiful hotel with old Western charm in the heart of Jackson Hole. Great restaurant, rooms and lounge.

I'm not normally for the old school hotel... I find they usually lack amenities, but The Wort is the exact opposite.

In the heart of downtown is this charming, romantic gem.

I've stayed in ALOT of hotels... probably around 200 nights a year and this is right in the top three.

First, it's on the National Historic Register... walk inside and you'll feel really cozy and at peace. Sounds corny I know, but it's true, just look at my pictures.

Rooms are old school ranch, western... and it couldn't be a better fit.

Each rooms has all the amenities... plus some you don

Had a great smoked fish starter. Delicious ! Highly recommend.

Dinner was also fantastic. Glasses kept refilled. Priced reasonably.

And the locals eat and hang out here :)

Special family occasion, cousin ordered sturgeon $37.00 meal , received 2 bites of fish literally, loud noisy
And expensive!!! Ridiculous no more!
