If you are looking for a home away from home environment for your child, we have it! New Life Discovery Shields offers a safe and healthy environment for the education and development of young children in classrooms with as few as 12 children. New Life clovis teachers are certified in Early Childhood or Elementary Education.
It is crucial that you let us know of your child's absence prior to the bus route departure or as soon as you know of your child's absence. The Bus Driver will otherwise be waiting for your child, which in turn delays all subsequent pick-ups. If your child needs to be drop off or picked up outside of their normal scheduled days or times, you need to notify the Director or Assistant Director by 7:00am that morning.
State law requires in case of an emergency that all children in attendance be signed in and out daily. For your child's protection, please provide N.L.D.S. with a list of all the people who are authorized to drop off and pick up your child. Please make sure that the person coming to pick up your child comes with proper photo identification, in order for your child to be released to them.
Babies need tender love and care more than anything to become secure young children. At New Life Discovery Schools, they will receive affection and security from our nurturing staff. They will learn to try new things and find security in any environment. Babies' first steps include trying new things such as rolling over, sitting, crawling and eventually walking.
Toddlers are very curious and independent children that love to pretend and explore their surroundings. Their exploring begins with simple jumping, climbing, and scribbling. N.L.D.S. provides outdoor play structures and memorable activities to enhance their large motor skills. At New Life Discovery Schools, toddlers learn to become individuals through personal experience.

My son is 2nd generation for N.L.D.S. New Life has GREAT TEACHERS & STAFF they work with your schedule 630am-6pm they accept social services and CSN any questions you have they'll answer. Also the staff is AWESOME any questions you have for your children or child they will answer with such care let you know how his/her day has been. I recommend this school and center HIGHLY.

If you are nervous and looking for a safe, clean, organized place who believes in education, this is the PLACE. They take their time to get to know every student. They help students become ready for Kindergarten. My daughter has been going here since she was 2 years old, and LOVES it. Now she is ready for Kinder and loves to read, write and interact with other students. Her vocabulary is amazing, and she tells me what she learns every day. Just wanted to say that my girls have been very happy and comfortable at the Fig Garden NLDS. Ms. Claudia and Ms. Connie have made their experience a happy one. From what I have seen, they have been attentive to the kids needs. They have had great communication with me about my daughters progress. The staff there are so nice and helpful. Thank you ladies for all that you do!

I had previously wrote a beautiful review on this center but i have now updated it because I speak only the truth !I am broken hearted and hurt on how the owner and management did my daughter when I spoke up .I was treated as if i asnt being honest . and till this day keats has some beautiful staff who are geniune ..however until a BAD APPLE (staff member)at keats begun to corrupt the center. I need to say no more of what happend to my daughter , that was really one of the worst thing any one could of done to my princess !as they read this REVIEW about there own buisness I hope thier hearts hurt

I fell in love with this school when I took the tour. Besides the fact the facility is well presented and clean one thing that caught my attention is that it looks exactly how its pictures portray it to be. The cirriculum for the children is organized and well planned as well as their lunch schedule. I dont know about other parents but I appreciate the daily progress reports I get from my sons teachers as well as his activities whether it be writing his numbers or painting his name. There is never a dull day at N.L.D.S for my son and he wakes me up excited to go to school almost every morning.The
