Roxan is the heart and soul of Bluff View. When I drop off my children, they are greeted by her warm smile and I know they are in great hands. Roxan knows every child, every parent, and is dedicated to preparing each student for Kindergarten. After years of planning and research by our director Roxan Tutelian and her team of early childhood educators, Bluff View Private Preschool opened our doors in 2007.

Services
We are the only private preschool in the Central Valley that uses the same curriculum used by all Clovis and Fresno school districts. Our own onsite Curriculum Director/Reading Specialist has over 40 years of experience in a local school district. We have incorporated American Sign Language and Spanish into our curriculum.
The Houghton Mifflin Curriculum is an in-depth program that provides children with the foundational skills they need to succeed as lifelong learners. This age- appropriate hands-on curriculum is based on scientific research and aligned to California State Kinderdergarten and Common Core Standards. It includes engaging activities, music and manipulatives, encourages independent exploration and hands-on, minds-on learning.
Karyn Robertson collaborates with our teachers providing that the best educational practices and methods are followed. She ensures that a strong foundation is established for our students, so vital for the future success in kindergarten and beyond. In addition to overseeing our teachers, Mrs. Robertson works with each child in small groups to help develop early literacy skills so that our students leave Bluff View as early readers.
We are committed to focus instruction on the California Preschool Learning Foundations to ensure that our individual students are prepared to the best of their ability to succeed in kindergarten and beyond. This preparation will help to develop and support our students as successful, independent learners when they address the rigors common core standards in kindergarten and beyond.
Bluff View's exciting summer program runs mid June through July. We offer a variety of full day and half day schedules, Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Please see our office for more information regarding the current year's schedule, themes, and tuition rates. Through such things as art, music, cooking and sports, children will learn letter recognition, math skills, language and vocabulary.

Absolutely the best preschool in town! The teachers are warm, friendly and competent. My 2 daughters go to Bluff view and they love everything about it. It's a safe place for our little ones and they learn SO much in daily classes! They offer ninja and sign language lessons too which is amazing!

My daughter had her first school experience for pre-k at Bluff View. This school is a true gem! Her teacher Mrs. Dodd and all of the teacher aides were absolutely amazing. They were so nurturing and caring and also encouraging. The curriculum is top notch and my child is completely ready for kindergarten. The facility is clean, and everything how been very thought through. I cannot say enough good things about this place and I am so grateful that my daughter was able to have such a fantastic first experience with school.

I can't say enough wonderful things about Bluff View Private Preschool. I have had peace of mind the last 4 years knowing my girls are loved, well cared for and safe. I've always been impressed with the vested interest of all teachers and staff members. The founder Roxan is always willing to go above and beyond for her Bluff View families. Both of my children have thrived at Bluff View because of the level of engagement, hands on activities and play within the classrooms. The added bonus to Bluff View is the extra curricular activities embedded in the day, which my have kids loved

I have both of my sons at bluff view and couldn't be happier with my experience. The facility is extremely nice and well maintained there are many amenities including a playground, a train, a large private park, and an indoor play town. The staff is very friendly and competent. My boys learn every day and are very excited about what they learned. The experience here has been amazing it is like a second family

It is excellent education place for kids. It not only helps your kid to grow socially, mentally and educationally. Very cooperative staff and principal. We are on waiting list to get my son into this school this year. Hope to hear from them soon. My daughter was completely polished before she started her transitional kindergarten in public school. My son has completed two years of school here along with two summer sessions. We can not express how impressed we continue to be by the teachers and staff, advanced curriculum, and atmosphere BV provides. Everyone is always so welcoming, it's like a giant family - we love it! This is not a daycare - it's a school - big difference from where we attended prior!
My son is 4 - he has a very short attention span that makes it difficult for me to do home teaching. The professional teachers at BV have curriculums that, I honestly feel, are designed around each child. His teachers keep him focused

Bluff View seemed like a great school for My son, good reviews, good atmosphere, as I took a tour I observed the children interacting with one another, I observed the environment, I observed the teachers and staff interacting with the children and each other. Roxanne, the one who gave the tour, assured me she has a strong team. The classes are fairly large. One class in particular (the class my two year old would of been in) got my attention. My son has just completed two years at Bluff View and my daughter is about to start her first year. This school is the best in Fresno. My son has learned so much and he just loved going to school. The facilities are amazing and the staff is wonderful. I would never consider another preschool for my children. You really do get what you pay for.

Bluff View does an incredible job teaching, nurturing, and preparing our little ones. As a parent I have confidence in the education my daughter is receiving. They do a great job educating the whole child; academically, socially and emotionally. I appreciate their high standards and the support they provide in achieving them! From a different perspective as an elementary principal in clovis, I've continually been impressed with incoming students who have participated in Bluff View's program. Bluff View is fantastic! The staff is caring, understanding and safe. The facility is clean and kid appropriate. The curriculum is focused with enough breaks and play time to ensure mental and physical growth. I'm confident that while I am away at work my child is well taken care of. We knew this was as good as it gets from the first walk through. Highly recommended.

My husband and I were blessed to have our son enrolled at Bluffview for three years. Our primary concern was taking him from the home daycare he had become so comfortable with, to a school with a structured setting. The staff was so nurturing and knowledgable, that our son didn't skip a beat. He loved Bluffview so much that we kept him there for the summer camp as well, even though my husband and I both have summers off. The rigor of the curriculum is absolutely amazing. Bluff View is excellent. It is a school not a daycare; there is a huge difference between the two. The teachers are educated and nurturing, the toys and equipment (they even have a train) are of the highest standard, (incidentally, there is a special toy sanitizing machine which is used daily) and the school is run in a professional manner. Bluff View is a world apart from the mediocre, poorly run and staffed daycares in the area.

I had both my children in Bluff View for 2 years and I can't explain how much I love this school. The staff is so friendly and helpful. Roxanne, the owner, is amazing! She is there everyday making sure everything is running smoothly. The teachers become part of the family. Mrs. Lopez, Ms. McElroy (now Mrs. Haury?) and Mrs. Trogdon are just amazing teachers. We loved everyone of them. The teachers are always there to discuss any of your questions and happy to help. I love being able to drop in at anytime and "spy" on my kids through the two way mirror.
