Welcome to Fly Circus & Aerial Arts, where we advocate a respectful, responsible, and positive environment to train in aerial fitness and the aerial arts! At Fly, we employ a collaborative effort in the progression of all things Aerial Fitness, building from the ground up and tailoring learning to each individual.
Lacy began her aerial journey with a pole dancing class in 2015 with our Unicorn, Lorie, that left her sore but wanting more! She began Lyra the following year and has since spread her wings into the study of silks, hammock, lollipop (aerial hoop on a pole), Spanish web and dance trapeze.
She is a certified fitness class instructor through the Athletics and Fitness Association of America and a certified Beginners Pole Fitness Instructor through Spin City.Lacy has traveled around the Midwest to train with Pole Stars and has performed in many venues around Wisconsin as The Flying Fox.

Fly Circus & Aerial Arts is situated under the Oneida Street bridge on the riverside end of the historic and eclectic Edison Center built in 1898. We are located in the heart of downtown Appleton, surrounded by art, dining, shopping, and a view of the Fox River. Our suite was once home to a brewery!

For folks with more external genitals, we recommend getting a dance belt. A dance belt is worn like underwear except it securely pulls everything up towards the belly button, keeping it in a consistent position to prevent injury. I love coming to this studio. I've been a practitioner of the aerial arts for about 5- 6 years now and I highly recommend going here. Last year I took a break since my fiance was building his business and needed as much help as I could give. I started going to classes again at the beginning of August and it was the best thing I've done for myself in a while. My instructors understood that I needed to get back to the basics and they started with just that. In the month and a half that I've been back I'm regaining my strength steadily. I cross-train with the barre classes offered and I feel that

Fly Circus is a fantastic studio. I started taking aerial silks classes with knowledgeable instructor Kelly in June 2018 and it is so fun and challenging! I’m tall (6’ 4”), and Fly has space for silks with practice mats and high ceilings. So I can train new moves from the floor and climb up when I’m ready for a challenge. They also do pole, hammock, trapeze, barre and yoga classes in both Appleton and Green Bay. Try it out!

We simply cannot express enough positivity about Aerial Roots! I’ve taken 3+ years of aerial training and my husband is a Marine Corps veteran; as a married couple we enjoy taking barre classes together each week to help stay active. Our instructor, Jaime, is encouraging, upbeat, and warm-hearted. Each class is engaging, super challenging, and entertaining in all the right ways. The studio’s atmosphere is refreshing and cozy. If you enjoy having that friendship-like feeling with your instructor and studio, you’ll definitely get it here. #burnthemuffins <3

Aerials Roots is a great studio! I have been going to their Barre Class for 3 weeks now and I am hooked! Our instructor, Jaime is amazing! She works us for the entire hour and is extremely knowledgeable (she knows her stuff!). I feel in the 3 weeks I have been going to Barre, I am already seeing a difference in my body. Also, their studio is super clean and inviting!! If you are looking for a new fitness challenge check out Aerial Roots. They offer other classes as well!! Overall, I am so happy I got out of my comfort zone and tried something different! I look forward to class every week!!

I tried my first class at Aerial Roots tonight and had so much fun! The instructors are very helpful and altered moves to my skill level to ensure I was challenged and able to do the routine we were working on. I would recommend Aerial Roots if you want to work out without realizing it because you're having too much fun trying the beautiful spins and poses. There was even a new move I hadn't done before, and the instructor was very patient and did an awesome job explaining and showing me how to do it. I can't wait for my next class!
