On Demand Counseling
We will verify your insurance plan and find out what treatments are available under your coverage. Answer a few questions about your concerns and current state of mind to treat the root of the problem. We offer group counseling, individual counseling, case management, crisis intervention and ongoing aftercare to individuals wishing to achieve or maintain sobriety.

Walk-in appointments with On Demand Counseling are available at both of our locations, hours and availability subject to location. These appointments are given on a first-come, first serve basis. For individuals who require specialized medical care to help them overcome addiction but are still functional in some aspects of their lives, outpatient treatment is an ideal option.
Services
Outpatient rehab is the right choice for millions of people every year who suffer from addiction. Outpatient addiction treatment allows you to carry on with your daily life while getting the medical attention you need. When you are assessed, a doctor helps to decide the level of care you require, depending on your unique situation and needs.
It's no secret that mental health has a stigma surrounding it, but On Demand Counseling works every day to break that stigma. Asking for help is not a weakness- it's a strength. Our counselors vary in their specialties with some specializing in trauma and others in substance use. We will work to make sure we have a counselor that best suits your needs and makes you feel comfortable in your mental health journey.
Jennifer Joseph is a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner at On Demand Counseling. In her practice, Jennifer approaches each of her patients with empathy and compassion to provide a non-judgemental, safe space to discuss their needs and mental health concerns. Jennifer takes her practice one step further by providing access to resources and various services, as needed, to ensure clients' mental, physical and social needs are cared for.
MAT complements professional counseling and support groups to help control cravings associated with alcoholism and opiate addiction. MAT stands for medication assisted treatment. Although it may sound counter-productive, the use of certain medications helps people to overcome substance use disorders.
Substance abuse and mental health are intrinsically linked. Often, those who suffer from alcohol or drug addiction have underlying emotional reasons for their behavior. Conversely, it's hard to admit to yourself or other people when trauma is at the heart of alcohol and drug abuse. The only people who can help you understand and overcome the underlying reasons for mental health and addiction problems are medically trained experts.

Going to On Demand has changed my life. The people who work there are incredibly down to earth and not judge mental. They are always there to help and are always understanding and kind. Dr.Josh is great,I look forward to seeing him every month he always puts a smile on my face and makes me laugh. (He’s also very easy on the eyes :P) my counselor is always there for me and tries to give me tools to get to where I want to be. I never feel uncomfortable or judged by her. I also see a psychiatrist who after a lifetime of being misdiagnosed and given meds that don’t work correctly diagnosed me and

I do give on demand counseling 5 stars. This is the only place I have ever gotten suboxone , gone to outpatient, received mental health counseling, and saw a psychiatrist. Many places I have been to I felt either judged or uncared about, or that the business mostly just cared about money. On demand in Austintown gets 5 out of 5 from
me because my suboxone doctor Josh was fabulous, always willing to work with me as long as I was honest, my counselor was very helpful and kind, they have very nice staff and the staff that was rude and judgmental they got rid of because they knew it was uncalled for

I heard great things about this place so I decided to come here. Completely unprofessional, office staff seem to care less about people than money or friends, I had to stick up for my rights afforded to me by the state and federal governments in terms of what medical and mental health providers are legally required to perform and provide, was disregarded and pushed to the side, then several days later I get a call that I am being discharged because I was disrespectful. Im not saying I was an angel, but i wasn't a demon either. I simply said that their mishandling of my situation was unacceptable

They help you till you really need it then drop you leaving you with no options. Obviously if you need their services you have trouble staying clean so they punish you for the whole reason you go to them in the first place! I feel bad for the others who commented, I thought they were like family to me too, but family durant torn their back on you when things get hard!
