Services
Our mission is to provide the people of the Roaring Fork Valley with state of the art diagnostic and therapeutic care for their canine and feline family members. We are committed to promoting the health and well being of all animals through client education, wellness and preventative care for our patients.
In his spare time, one could find Dr. Thorsen and his Belguian Travuren Zorro, trail running, snow shoeing or climbing a fourteen-er. His three children are also the highlight of his life as they keep him young and extremely active. Dr. Pohm, (Veterinarian and Owner) is a 1988 graduate of Iowa State University.
Dr. Niehoff had started the practice and owned it for 5 years before he decided to join the Air Force. The practice was an exotic and small animal practice that had one employee, a receptionist. After Dr. Pohm and Dr. Thorsen bought it the practice quickly grew to have two full time doctors, two certified technicians and one receptionist.
Dog Holliday's is located at 2517 South Grand Ave. Glenwood Springs, Co. The hours are Monday - Friday 7:30am to 5:30pm, Saturday 8am-5:30 pm and Sunday by appointment. We are pleased to introduce our feline boarding facility. We offer feline suites customized to your cat's activity level. Your cat will be housed in a safe, quiet environment with access to exercise out of the suite as well.

One of the best!! Dr Bob was the only vet that could treat my fearful Aussie shepherd. Sunny was terrified of all vets. But Bob did his exam while sitting in the waiting room WITH US and appearing to pet Sunny. What a great solution! That should get a Temple Grandin award of some kind.
LAST YEAR During COVID
Dr Lori help with our kitty that had a "wound" under his chin. Dx'd as kitty acne. Worse case she had ever seen. He had lost all the hair under his chin, entire underside of his chin was infected. All his whiskers had turned white. Louis is an all black cat. Took 2 months to clear up. Multiple

I am a professional trainer and my dogs are my world. My dog had an infected elbow with swelling and pain on a Friday (of course) and nobody would see him. We managed to snag a same day appointment here and they took great care of my boy. I’m still awaiting test results but they sent us off with medication to hold us over until we get the results back, and they were very kind and treated my boy so well. I greatly appreciate their kindness and willingness to get us in during a health crisis, when no one else would. Totally worth the hour drive.

Dr. Bob is the best! He is very down to earth, calming. I feel like he genuinely cares about all his patients. He has taken time outside of scheduled hours to call and make sure we were taking care of. Has fit us in last minute after they have already been closed [emergency] even calls to check in to make sure things are still going okay! Highly recommend

So grateful and happy about the care my dog Tucker recieved here. Easily most affordable vet in valley, but most grateful for the amazing service. They even stopped what they were doing when I was picking him up to take care of something I forgot to mention, and didn't even charge me extra. So grateful 💜
