Have stayed here a couple of times. We had a corner room with a great view of the ocean. We kept the doors open all night so we could hear the waves. The " kitchen area was good; it has a microwave and small fridge ,small coffee maker. You can get coffee in the lobby until 11am. Parking was on site for us, we went in October, so not off season yet. Summer parking could send you to a satellite lot. There is a rent a chair and umbrella station next to the beach walk out .They have closed for the summer. The trolley runs in front of the hotel, and the busses are 2 blocks away; they also have closed

Very nice place great staff and amenities. Had an issue with the door to our room and the only way it could be closed is if I lifted it up almost off it hinges. It required a great deal if effort that needs to be fixed ASAP!! Liked the place overall and will come back just had to deal with the door.

Best place we stayed in at Ocean City. I love our room on the 6th floor!...it's like a studio with refrigerator, microwave oven, big soft bed, sofa with pull out bed, coffee maker, hair dryer, ironing board and iron, temperature controlled thermostat, 2 televisions. We have 2 decks overlooking the Ocean and the boardwalk and the other looking at the outside pool (there's also an indoor pool). A hop skip and a jump to the boardwalk. Ample amount of parking space. The concierge, Sharon, was very pleasant and helpful. I like the fact that they have an elevator and handicap accessible. They serve coffee

We stayed at the. Commander the last week in September and we were very pleased with the room and everything we needed to cook breakfast and lunch each day. We had parking and each time we left we still had a spot when we returned. The only bad thing was the alarms that went off early morning. We thought the hotel was on fire and hurried down the steps with no shoes and half dressed. It was a false alarm but it was very scary. I would stay there again for sure though.

I have to say we was very pleased and satisfied with our stay. Everyone was extremely helpful and accommodating!! The suite was very accommodating and clean, gorgeous ocean front view. We was very pleased and will definitely recommend The Commander and wonderful staff, I would like to personally thank everyone that works here, you guys are outstanding and really enjoy your job. Last minute getaway Labor Day. Got the Captain's suite! Sharon at front desk checking in Friday gave us great advice about parking and places to go. My only problem was one night had to park in the lot 2 blocks away. They should buy the lot in front of hotel! Didn't know you could buy VIP parking. It's not a super fancy hotel, but was nice enough for us.

The Commander is in the perfect location & priced wonderfully ~ from check-in to check-out we had a great stay! The staff was nice and helpful, the room was clean and stocked with necessities. No turn down service but there is no issue when you called for extra towels/linens. We loved the pool, it was clean and the staff made sure of it.
