Chip is the Licensed Real Estate Broker of record, owner of Tally Property Management, LLC and co-founder of Cabat Properties LLC. Chip earned a bachelor's degree in Industrial Arts Education, a master's degree in Urban and Regional Planning both from FSU. Chip has over 34 years' experience as a licensed Real Estate Broker, multi-family property owner and manager operator as well as a Code Enforcement Administrator.

Once you've completed your application, mail, e-mail, or fax us a copy, or drop it by the office. Please note that there is a $25 fee to process your application. If you make less than three times the amount of the monthly rent, you will need to provide a guarantor or a double deposit. A sample of our lease is available for you to review online.

Very poor communication. Was completely ghosted after two emails as a READY to sign customer. I stated very clearly let me know when viewings are available for 1115 Baton Rouge and never got a follow up back. This is why property management companies get bad feedback. COMMUNICATION is what you all need to work on. This wasted my time. When I did find a place, that property manager was more willing to do the BASIC things for customer service. 1.) Follow up 2.) Sales engagement 3.) Final close. DO BETTER. BE BETTER. Awful experience.

I am very disappointed. My fiancé and i went in person to TPM in early February looking for a new home. They were very helpful, respectful, professional, and prompt with everything. We went in with our security deposits after we were approved for the house. During this time we signed the lease. While signing, we were told by the office that the yard would be done prior to move in, that we had working washer and dryer, and that the house would be clean and move in ready when we moved in a month later. Negative stars was not available so I had to give it 1 star. Such a poorly ran company. I just spoke to the owner Kristin about the inability of one of her workers named John Conlin. His lack of returning calls and emails. The slimy way he conducts business. How he rented a home to us in very poor conditions and took it out of our deposit once we moved out. The house had already been on market for a month. It should have already been cleaned but wasn't. Our realator, that showed us the place, was disgusted and embarrassed of the place. I normally don’t post reviews but after seeing some of these negative reviews I wanted to give my experience. We were having an issue with a roommate that we couldn’t resolve. TPM stepped in and helped work out the problem even though they didn’t have to. I have never been happier with a rental company, they make you feel like a person and not just a rent check. They are quick to solve maintenance issues and help their residents in anyway they can.

Tally Property Management was great. I rented their for 2 years and truly enjoyed my experience. I loved how close I was to both of the colleges and how quite the neighborhood was. Chip the property manager is awesome! He always answered all my questions and was very prompt if I needed something done in the apartment. I would definelty recommend Gadsen Village if you are a student going to FAMU or FSU.

I just want to inform folks out there be carefully of Tally Property Management in Gadsen Village with Charles Perkins (Chip) and Kristin. First when I met Chip he acts professional I view one place but when I sign the lease on the day of, he recommend another location that he says was better. Not knowing I was going to be in a hell hole.
I should have move in August 1st but end up getting the keys to move in August 7th 2017 but yet the contract says the place should be move in ready but when I got the property it was a disaster broken dishwasher with debry inside, debris in

They where great working with us. After being basically scammed by several other rental companies in town (putting in applications and not ever hearing back one way or the other and they then not answering any calls ) my fiancee contacted Chip Perkins, told him about out situation, what we could afford, and credit and we had a place 3 days later. They have been great to work with ever since as well. I highly recommend them. also the only place I was not disrespected for paying in cash

I have rented from TPM for two years...never had a problem...moved from one property to another with ease...I have read the reviews below and it seems like the people complaining didn't follow procedures...if you clean your unit on the way out; they don't charge you like other companies....if you don't; you have to pay for cleaning like they tell you when you sign the lease. My friend didn't clean their unit when they moved out and was charged cleaning...TPM provided photos of why the charges were made and copies of the invoices...they don't charge unless they have too. If I could give a negative 5 stars that's what they deserve. Been in a place for over 2 months and our stove has been broken from day 1. When I did a walk though with the owner Chip Perkins this was brought to his attention and he said we will be right on it....Well that's a lie. They left a family of 6 with no way to prepare meals for over 2 months. Then when they did get around to replacing it they replaced it with a used broken appliance. After sending emails calling and leaving messages and texts. They might answer you. By far the most unprofessional property management company. Still waiting
