We're based in Ottawa, IL, but we serve all surrounding communities throughout Lasalle, Grundy, Kendall, Will, and Dupage counties.
A. Foul odors are prevented from entering your house by installing a 'trap' to plumbing fixture drains. Traps are designed to hold a water barrier to seal out unwanted odors. If this water barrier evaporates, then odors will enter the house through the drain. To stop the odors, pour a bucket of water down each drain to fill the trap.

Stoudt Plumbing has been my plumber of choice for years. I've recommended Stoudt Plumbing to anyone who has plumbing-related issues. They remedied many issues at my 1800's victorian rental; updating supply lines, drain lines, faucets, fixtures, water heaters, and rodding a very clogged drain line to the sewer (multiple times)! Stoudt Plumbing did the complete new construction and finish plumbing for my personal house, including pipe for gas lines. He and his crew are always very friendly and professional. I highly recommend them!

I've used Stoudt Plumbing services for years. They quickly show up for emergency needs at my rental units. They also roughed in my new house and addition, as well as completed all of the finish work (i.e., RO system, faucets, showers, tub, etc.). I recommend Stoudt Plumbing to anyone who requires a professional plumber needing prompt, courteous and professional plumbing services.
