These guys are just ridiculously good at what they do. Had Walk & Talk inspections done for two properties we were buying, and both Scott and Chris were incredibly thorough. It doesn't just stop at inspection either - they educated me on all of the systems in my home and provided an "instruction manual" for my home - which has proven essential as a first time homeowner. I will be returning to Ridge to Foundation for years to come, and recommending them to all of my friends.

As a Realtor, I have worked with many inspectors, but I appreciate the responsiveness of Scott and not only to help my buyers quickly get an inspection scheduled, but the time he takes to help buyers understand how to maintain their home after they purchase it and also to be available for homeowners to call and ask questions even after they've been in their home for awhile. Chris was absolutely awesome. We ratified a contract and only had three days to complete our full home inspection. We had received word of mouth referrals for Ridge to Foundation from friends who bought and work with Chris and Scott last year, and our realtor recommended this company as well. I am a first time home buyer and extremely overwhelmed. In order to get an offer accepted, I needed a home inspection within 5 days. Scott was able to do the inspection around his schedule in 2 days and my offer was chosen. At the inspection, he was amazing. He didn’t miss a thing and taught me so much about my potential new home. Even after an issue arose, he came back to meet the sellers party to explain issues he found and help rectify them. The report I received was very detailed and pictures were clear. Chris (co-owner) did and outstanding job thoroughly inspecting the interior and exterior of the home I just purchased. This is my first homebuying experience, so I was a bit nervous about what to expect during a home inspection. Chris spent well over two hours inspecting absolutely everything, explaining why he was inspecting it and describing how to maintain everything to extend it's life. It was comforting to work with someone so detail-oriented when you're making such a large financial decision.
