All work is done at the client's pace and is NOT horsemanship; no riding is involved. I learned how I approach what I see as a solution and a problem. Thanks for an exceptional training experience I will long remember, and most certainly recommend to colleagues. Thank you Kim for such a neat experience.

Services
Community service has been a lifelong part of Kim's life. She has volunteered at the University of Arkansas Dorothy King Equine Program and been a Nettleship Society Member with her husband. She has served NASW Arkansas as a Board member and enjoyed both volunteering with the Benton County 4H Horse club as well as serving as a leader.
Scout is the top horse of our herd. He is very easy going but everyone respects his quiet way of communicating and leadership. When he came to live here, he had some fears to overcome because of the "heavy hands" that had been used with him. It took a lot of time, patience and love but he learned that he could trust the humans here.
Heroes & Horses of the Ozarks, Inc. is a nonprofit that supports veterans, first responders and their families by providing access to equine assisted psychotherapy "EAP". This experiential model of therapy is unique and most helpful when traditional talk therapy doesn't seem to work. We refer to this program as "Heroes and Horses".
