I always wanted to have a celebration here, booked the date & gave a deposit 6 weeks in advance. They closed for the season without letting me know. I found out by calling after no reply to my emails. I scrambled to accommodate my party. Don't ever trust this place even with a deposit. Only gave 1 star because I have to.

Apparently this is the place to be on Friday and Saturday night. The backyard looks as if it would be a lovely place for a wedding venue. There are plenty of tables and chairs as well as olive trees. I'm not sure if tents go up in the winter but I bet it would work out nicely.

We have come to this restaurant many times in the previous years, but we were disappointed to learn that it has changed. We ordered the calamari, pepperoni pizza and the butter burger. The harsh truth is that they all tasted like bland, poorly seasoned, frozen food.The only reason we are giving it two stars is because the waitress was really nice and attentive. Great vibe, good live music, good drink selection, but do yourself a favor and pass on the food.

Not what I was expecting. First of all there's not a whole lot to choose from. The two things we tried to order were on the menu but no longer available, not that they ran out, they just don't offer them anymore. Why not take them off the menu? Tried to substitute fries for something else and they don't offer any substitutions. Definitely never coming back. I ordered a caprese pizza which was listed as having cherry tomatoes, arugula, pesto & shaved Parmesan. It had regular tomato slices and basil & no sign of Parmesan. It was at best mediocre and the basil made it taste

This place is definitely out of the way and out of the area. I am rating average because although the staff were all friendly, they did not correctly inform us of the bottomless brunch so we didn't order how we would knowing that it's bottomless 2 items at a time. For the price TBH the quality of food is not all that worth it. Only a few items that are actually worth getting in terms of quality and portion size. This is a place to check out, but unless they step up how they sell their items I don't see it lasting long. Would have also been nice for the price we paid to have

The atmosphere is nice and the staff are really friendly. I believe all the seating is outdoors which is nice when it's not too hot outside. My 2 main issues are the parking lot and the food. The actual parking lot with parking spaces is small, then they have overflow parking which is over this really hard black gravel that sucks to walk on... And the food selection is limited imo. While the Pizza I ordered was good, I only ordered it because of lack of options. But I feel like their main attraction is the seating arrangement, drinks & entertainment. They have a stage that's really nice for bands

Chef Matt and assistant Hector did a terrific job with our food. The carne asada fries were to die for! Loved the chicken wings too, not greasy at all and cooked well with whatever rub they use, didn't even need sauce. The pizza was great also we got the meat one and was done perfectly. The watermelon sugar drink hit the spot after a long day. This is a spot worth coming to again and again. The atmosphere was super lively and the only thing that would have made it much better is if we had gone on a day that a live band was playing. Thank you Team at The Grove!!

We finally tried this place out for the first time after passing by it so many times on the way to Monterey/Carmel area. Thought it was going to be a stuffy fancy place but it turned out to be a very nice chilled vibe outdoor seatings, family friendly.
Service was excellent. Jazz was bubbly and friendly but at the same time quick and efficient . Got our water, beer , salad , pizza pretty quickly considering the place was pretty crowded. Love the relaxing outdoor space with fully matured green trees hanging over the table giving us nice shade, breezy and cool

We visited The Grove by Leal Vineyards for my husband Peter's birthday and rreceived exceptional service, from mouthwatering delicious food, great wine to their respectful courteous staff. This place is a must visit. They will go above and beyond to make any occassion memorable for you. The manager Luis is the most genuine person and he truly takes costomer service to the next level. We have gone to the grove for years. We went for a Mother's day celebration and a birthday celebration. We were kicked out when the manager Isabel asked us to leave after we have been so nice to the server. The table next to us we're yelling cuss words at the waitress. We paid a 400 dollar bill for a party of 6 and the manager came to ask us to leave because there were "people waiting" in line. Be ready to get kicked out if you are Hispanic and 1 white, 1 black person sitting at the table. The people at the tables sitting around us had been there for hours

Nice outdoor dining with a DJ. Limited, but good menu, with sushi, pizzas, nice appetizers, and salads. I had the carnitas pizza and added pepperoni and grilled chicken. Yum! We went as a party of 5 and enjoyed three appetizers: honey-glazed Brussels sprouts, street corn guacamole, and tempura-battered vegetable. All were great. My wife and I enjoyed a couple glasses of their Leal Pinot. Very nice wine. My pizza unfortunately came about 15 or so minutes after everyone else's food, but that was my only complaint. Highly recommended.

Met a girlfriend here for a Saturday lunch/brunch as were were craving mimosas. The mimosas were on par and service was great! I had the Caprese salad which had grape tomatoes, lots of pesto and fresh creamy burrata cheese... crostini's were served on the side. I enjoyed every bite! Besides the pesto being a bit on the heavy side, everything was fresh and delicious.
My friend had the cheeseburger and fries and I gotta say I was hella jealous- it looked sooooo good. I did steal a bunch of her fries which were cooked perfectly. The bun even had their name engraved in it! I love this place and

We started our night with burnt appetizers. The service was great, our server was attentive and checked up on us frequently. We got a apricot chicken pizza, burger and chicken sandwich. The pizza was good, just know they're super thin but it was the highlight of the night. The burger and chicken sandwich were super dry and my boyfriend thinks some of the pieces of chicken on his pizza were undercooked as he has been up all night with food poisoning. It's our first time so we're giving another chance again next week, hopefully..

I've known about the grove for so many years between going to Leal in Hollister and MOHI in Morgan Hill but it always felt so out of the way.
We were off on a weekday and decided to stop by for lunch and had such a wonderful time! Beautiful property, air misters and a lot of space to be able to sit spaces out.
Beverly was our server and she was super sweet! Didn't know the wine list too well but that was ok with us as it seemed she was new. She allowed us try a splash of the sparkling cuvée which was so nice and we ended up getting 2 glasses of that :)

This spot has a huge outdoor sitting. Their restrooms are clean, short wait and customer service was amazing. Ordered carnitas pizza, which was bomb! It was cool to perfection! My family loved it. Poke and edamame was delicious as well. Ordered pina colada, and it was good. Usually the alcohol is pretty strong on the pina colada, but this one was perfect; not too strong and not too easy either.
They also have a bakery, but did not get a chance to check it out and get a taste. Definitely going to come back with friends here. The vibe is COOL!

This place is awesome! The seating area is located out in the open fresh air. With plenty of umbrella shades and misters for the heat. Also plenty of trees. Beautiful ambiance.
Drinks were fabulous and delicious and just so picture worthy! Our great hostess, Des, really just tied it all together. She was very knowledgeable and gave us great recommendations on drinks. She was very attentive and was always keeping our ice water filled. Appetizers were delicious and good looking. They even have bakery items infused with alcohol!

Went there on a Friday 6/12. Staff we're wearing masks. Tables we're not spaced out. Tables were still in their original places. There was a sign to wear a mask inside the building and in the bathroom it's supposed to be one person at a time. Procedure was not enforced and people did not follow. In the women's bathroom, there were females that went in together 2 in a stall.
I agree with another review that service was slow and food was not as good as I remember and definitely overpriced. I had the $19 shrimp salad. Dry and needed more dressing. Waitress forgot to get me more

Just on the outskirts of Hollister you will find this amazing gem! The Grove offers delightful appetizers like their Poblano Dip, Street Corn Guac and delectable dishes like the Fiesta Bowl, and Shortie Rice! Each dip comes with a tray of crispy savory chips to share with the entire table.
The cooks are magicians because the food came out so quickly which was great because we were ravenous. The atmosphere is also so charming and family friendly.

After an of exhilarating afternoon of soaring 7500 feet in the air, we had lunch at The Grove. This place is spacious inside and outside. Looks like a great venue for parties! The food was okay, though. Free margarita when you check in on Yelp!! Woo hoo! And it was a yummy margarita!!! Not the cheap tasting margarita!

I came here again with my family for dinner, and yet again the food continued to be amazing! My skirt steak was cooked just right and paired nicely with the strawberry beet salad and a pint of Brewery twenty five Garza IPA. They have delicious chips, made with seasonal cauliflower. Everything came out nicely and quick. They also have a fine dessert selection, especially their macaron ice cream sandwiches and pots de creme.
This place has an amazing ambiance whether inside or out. At night, they have heat lamps and firepits on the middle of the outdoor tables. They have a good selection

Really wanted to give this place 5 stars but was slightly let down by the wait for my food. The wife’s food meal out first and it was a 10 minute wait later until my food arrived. However, service and quality of food were really good. The outdoor setting is beautiful and you don’t feel like you’re next to a freeway! The fried cauliflower chips are scrumptious!
