Ten years ago today we unlocked the doors and welcomed everyone to The Milias Restaurant. It has been quite an adventurous ride - not for the faint of heart but we have enjoyed this journey. We have welcomed great people to our Restaurant. We have said goodbye to some great people who will always be in our hearts and part of The Milias Family.
A very big THANK YOU to our Families for being dragged on to the Roller Coaster with us and staying on the ride with us. We couldn't have done this without your support. There are some very special people who have been there for us when the road got a little bumpy. We can't begin to Thank you. So Cheers to Ten Years!

Services
By the early 1920s, a new U.S. Highway 101 ran straight through downtown Gilroy. The increased traffic brought a wave of commercial prosperity and along with it, the new Milias Hotel and Restaurant. Located opposite the City Hall, the hotel, with its first-class restaurant, became a major business anchor at Monterey and Sixth Streets.

My spouse and I were originally going to the garlic city cafe but after walking in there and being treated rudely we decided to go to the Milias restaurant instead. We were immediately greeted by Cameron. He was super friendly and great at his job. Our food came out in a short amount of time and was delicious. I would highly recommend the bratwurst sandwich and garlic fries!

Our first time here, server was great! Food was good. Some woman with way too much perfume on kept fiddling with the light string that was plugged in by our table. FYI if your in food service don't douse yourself with perfume. Also, wife asked where the restroom was and another woman commented on how its a unisex restroom and men pee all over the seat. We probably will never come back, but our server was great.

Today was a little disappointing!! We sat outside, due to Covid, but the weather was nice! Waitress did not check to see if we needed anything since we placed our order! Went inside to ask for a second drink from the friendly bartender!! Second drink arrived, including the bill! Again, had to go inside to pay and get our to-go-lunch! When we arrived home we noticed one order was missing! 😳

Food was decent, and the staff was subpar. If you're looking to do something with a private party I would recommend looking elsewhere. The waiter call me by 3 different names as if it were a joke to him. Wait times were extremely long. I would recommend they add more than 2 servers for 30 people. Also our steaks were under cooked.

I love this place! I love this place so much, that I order food there, and I also order food to take home "Don't judge me" 😝
I went to brunch late and they ran out of biscuits and gravy (because they're that good) I damn near dropped a tear. They're "That Good"
