ARIS Physical Therapy Orthopedics and Sports Medicine is not a high patient volume clinic. We would rather treat fewer patients and give them a greater level of attention with each visit. Our patients include the general population, fire fighters, police officers, as well as athletes from all levels of all sports.
Integrity: Steadfast adherence to a strict moral/ethical code. Integrity is the alignment, the correspondence, between what one thinks (beliefs, values), what one says to others, and what one does. This is to say, integrity exists when think = say = do. Picture each of these (think, say, do) as a circle.

ARIS Physical Therapy utilizes a "Functional Teaching Model" where our goal is complete restoration of normal movement patterns and function. In order for us to "teach" the patient we feel it is vital that we have a comprehensive understanding of their current level of function, their limitations i.e.
Consistent application of proper body mechanics along with common sense will enable an individual to prevent injuries which occur during work, as well as outside of the work environment. As with injuries which occur at work, the injuries suffered outside of the work environment also contribute significantly to the loss of productivity secondary to time off work for surgery and/or rehabilitation (physical therapy).
Although our goal is to create independence for our patients in the realm of correct and comprehensive body mechanics we often have those who would like to continue to progress further into higher levels of dynamic stabilization and strength. Therefore, we have a post-rehabilitation program that allows the patient to receive continued "guidance" from our highly qualified staff.
The goal of ARIS' Strength and Conditioning program is to work with people of all ages and all walks of life. We have worked with those who have never exercised before, as well as grade school, high school, collegiate, and elite athletes. We also have many clients who aren't competitive in any particular sport, yet strive to remain athletic and achieve higher levels of strength and conditioning.
Over the past 10 years there has been a great deal about "Core Stabilization." However, it seems that it has lost its meaning and turned into more of a catch-all phrase. At ARIS Physical Therapy we believe that the Core does have a specific meaning and that stabilization of the Core is important to achieving higher levels of function.

Just wanted to give a shout out to ARIS Physical Therapy and its owner Al Escobar. After having total knee replacement surgery, my doctor’s office recommended Al for my physical therapy and I’m so glad they did! Al’s practice specializes in orthopedics and sports medicine. On any given day you might see elite athletes or folks like me whose knee wore out after years of living an active life. On my first visit Al did a thorough evaluation and guided me through an abbreviated therapy session. From then on I’ve worked with various members of his talented staff. I’m purposely not mentioning

This place is by far the best Physical Therapy place I have ever been to and I had tried 3 before finding Aris. Prior to Aris, I had been going to Physical Therapy, essentially wasting my time for a year and a half, making zero progress, unless you count progress as a complete deterioration of whatever muscle I had left. I had been recommended to go here and see Al by Dr. Sorosky when he had noted how much I had deteriorated, especially because at the time I was only 36. Since seeing Al and his team I have gained my life back! When I first started at Aris I literally was barely able to walk

Post surgery and when you are hurt and in pain. This is the best PT facility in the Valley. I’ve been to other PT facilities in the valley others don’t come close. Truly, professional and the endless knowledge of techniques to over come your injury. For the professional athlete to the every day working man. Well worth the price. Cant put a price on recovery.

The staff at Aris are wonder workers.
After having a knee surgery, I was referred to Aris from my doctor. From the very first visit, I knew I would be in good hands. Starting at the physical with Al, Ive never had more in depth care of the overall issues of my body and how to get properly aligned. These guys are fantastic.
I had 6 weeks of targeted, and customized PT to get me back on the roller derby track. My recovery was about more than just mobility, but also about getting back to competition level.
In comes my man Steve! Steve specifically took my training from the normal exercises

Please be aware! We were referred by our surgeon-I asked if we were covered with our insurance company (YES)so after collecting the full amount (because they didn't check our family deductible that was met-just kept saying no our son's wasn't met yet), I was notified (after paying on 8 sessions) that they aren't in network at all so we have to keep paying out because they don't get reimbursed. Because I didn't specifically ask the EXACT worded question, I feel I was taken advantage of. I don't work in the medical industry-I rely on competent professionals in the biz to guide me through the process

I was referred to ARIS PT by my Orthopedic Surgeon after my second shoulder surgery. Now, after my 3rd, they continue to deliver the highest quality rehab out there. From PT, to Exercise Physiology, to Sports training to Weight Training, massage to (miracle working..I call it☺)!
Seriously, I appreciate how they educate me in the process. Thanks guys!

***Beware*** if you go in the morning/late evening when someone isn't working the front desk they don't collect co-pay then they hit you with a big bill. All other places collect before services. They never said I had a co-pay or else I would not have had 3 appointments a week. But they got me so you live and learn!

Cannot say enough positive and wonderful things about Aris! Started there b/c of a frozen shoulder that my second shoulder MD didn't even think was possible to be helped thanks to some bad decisions by both another ortho and pain mngmt. He told me that Aris was his A++ team and right he was! Got my shoulder working in under a month! after 2 years of pain, stiffness and spasms! Then Al sent me to a spine MD and the team has been working on helping me w/ cervical/lumber issues (several). don't know where I'd be w/o their devotion and care. truly

After surgery to reattach a bicep tendon, ARIS was the only place on the west side that my surgeon trusted to do the rehab. I have been going three times a week for 2 months and the progression has been excellent. Always on time, usually if arrive a few minutes early are whisked in right away. Al and the staff are very knowledgable. Tip: if coming from the 101 use Union Hills then south on 67th way quicker than Bell

My son has been coming here for a couple of years now and they are great. He is an athlete who had many growth issues during his sophomore year in high school he is now a senior going to university in the fall as a student athlete. I don't think this would be happening if he hadn't received the treatment and attention he has from Aris. I totally disagree with the lady who gave one star (she seems to like the one star approach). He still goes a few times a month for maintenance and to make sure all body parts are doing what they should be. Would highly recommend this group.

Aris Physical Therapy is as professional and efficient as it gets. At age 71 I have a diagnosis of advanced arthritis in my left hip. My doctor told me that the only reason that I have good pain management and not overdue for a hip replacement is because I have done serious resistance training in the gym for the past 14 years. The muscles and tendons around the hip joint are strong. Al and his team at Aris are working with me to increase range of motion and fine tune my lifting techniques to keep keep things strong to avoid surgery in the future. The sessions are 90 minutes and they are teaching

If I had an option of giving no stars, I would. I called in to make an appointment. They asked me for my insurance card and I asked them to verify to see if the insurance will pay for the service. This was on friday. On monday I called and they said yes, you are good to go. Few weeks later I get a bill in the mail for $171 to pay for the service. I think that's awful costumer service and I will never go there again and also pass the word to my doctor not to refer anyone there since the doctor asked for my input. Very disappointed.........
