Services
Based in Bellevue, Washington, Ava Acupuncture Clinic provides therapeutic acupuncture treatments that heal your entire body rather than simply alleviating your symptoms. Please give us a call today to learn more about the many benefits of Chinese medicine. Contact us today to schedule an appointment to receive acupuncture treatments for your specific issues.
How does acupuncture work? By needling acupuncture points, the flow of energy, nutrients, and blood can reach organs that are in a state of dysfunction. This enables the organs to function properly. How many sessions will I need? It depends upon the organ and meridian systems affected. Certain organs require more frequent treatment sessions.
Acupuncture benefits and eligibility are specific to insurance plans and not the insurance company. Each company has different plans that may or may not have an acupuncture benefit. Please call your insurance company to determine if your policy includes acupuncture. Your co-pay amount is due at the time of service.

Dr.Lo is the best doctor and acupuncturist!!! I would give 6 stars if I could!
Being the third generation of doctor in the family, he is very knowledgeable and professional. I see Dr. Lo for sport injury. He always identified my problem in seconds. I see him regularly and it helps with my performance a lot. Totally recommended!!!

My wife and I have both seen Dr. Lo for a variety of reasons. He significantly improved my IT band issues (allowing me to complete a 1/2 Ironman) and has helped my wife with menopause. We've found him to be professional, caring, and extremely thoughtful in his approach to acupuncture. We highly recommend Dr. Lo to anyone seeking acupuncture treatment.

I've seen a number of acupuncturists in my day, and this was the most unpleasant experience I've ever had. Granted, the pain from the session was most likely caused by him finding highly sensitive areas, but never in my life has someone took less time to get to know my underlying issues. for a first appointment, I was in and out in an hour. I've seen numerous acupuncture therapists that address all aspects of nerve, digestive, and stress all in one session( and take their time finding what's most comfortable for you), and for some reason he chose to just do digestion ( which again was a very unpleasant

Ying is the best!!! I have been working with him since about 2010 and he is amazing. Ying attentively listens to everything you are saying and honestly knows exactly what's going on with you before you even open your mouth. His clinic is very inviting, squeaky clean (not sure if I've ever seen a particle of dust in there), and has great energy. His treatments are not cheap, but you get what you pay for and that is a personalized, quality care. I would not go to anyone else honestly after working with Ying.

One word, amazing! Ying is super professional and is a master of diagnosing and treating injuries. I had hurt my knee hiking and after the first treatment it felt 100% better and after the third treatment it was as good as new. I have since returned for various other injuries and tweaks, all with amazing results. Thank you!!

Went in as a result of 'Mothers Thumb', didn't resolve the issue, though acupuncture is like a massage. Might do something, might not.
1 star for their billing practices. One day their billing practices will be considered illegal. Take your needs to an honest establishment.
Quoted $90 per service for 2 sessions. Insurance was billed $140 and $120. When contacting them about the difference, we were given a number of excuses including that it'll help use up our deductible. They offered that we can go back and pay them directly, but couldn't rescind the bills sent to the insurance which had already

Dr. Lo is the VERY BEST. He should get more than 5 starts. I feel he has made all the difference in my world. It's been almost 4 years since I first saw him. He fixed that problem and it's never returned. I've presented new problems and they've been fixed as well. I'm so grateful I found him. Dr Lo isn't the first or the only acupuncturist I've seen but he is the only one I want to see now or in the future.

I rarely write about a store unless I feel strongly disturbed or exceptionally impressed. Ying of Ava Acupuncture is one of the later kind.
For some reason my arthritis became hyper active and attacked my ankle and knee like crazy. I practically live in pain for month. I took packs and packs of Medrol dose, the steroid I very much wished to avoid. It was depressingly frustrating and my arthritis was still totally crazy.
Then one of my friend referred me to see Ying, and I found something different about Ying that worth a good recognition:
First off, after 3 or 4 times of his treatment, my condition

Ying is an incredible Chinese medical doctor/acupuncturist who really knows his stuff!! You can tell that he takes great care in treating his patients and making sure they benefit from the treatment. His clinic is absolutely squeaky clean, warm and inviting. If you've been thinking about having acupuncture for whatever reason, I would highly recommend Ying. He seems to accept a wide range of different health insurance plans.
