We serve a variety of client types, from attorneys and engineering firms to local and state government departments and agencies, private individuals or companies and more.
Our appraisers have years of experience with many different property types, ownership interests (fee simple, leased fee, leasehold and easement) and market areas within Indiana. Our firm starts every assignment with a written proposal that includes a fee for our service. An appraisal is a professional appraiser's opinion of value.
We will get back with you as quickly as possible, but may not be able to address your question on the initial phone call or email. Consulting assignments are typically billed at an hourly rate. Your question may seem simple, but we are required to support our opinions with data or market evidence. Please keep in mind that we are required to adhere to professional standards on both developing and reporting assignment results.
At First Appraisal Group, Inc. we have completed multifamily market studies in the Monroe County area. We can provide market studies for other property types as well. A Market Study is the research and reporting on a specific market or submarket. The appraiser and client should work together to carefully delineate the scope of work so that the client's inquiry is sufficiently and reliably addressed.

As an appraiser for First Look I want you to know they are a bad company. They are very disorganized and never response when you need them, not to mention the hold times on the phone. They cancel reports and do not tell you. They are not a good company to have anything to do with. Call E-Street Appraisal or Appraisal Management or any one else will be better then these people.

Wow, ever want to know what happens to a company that implodes? This is one that I have witnessed over the past 6 months. Clearly there is huge disconnect with leadership and the support team. The inability to connect with anyone that can take ownership, promises made for return calls that never happen and being bounced around from phone que to que, just adds to already elevated frustration levels and compounds the real problems. The role of AMC is to "manage" the appraisal process however this company limits the empowerment to their team to solve problems and any requests for assistance usually

I am ONLY giving one star because I needed an appraisal quickly and they did it. Terrible service. The guy took less than 10 minutes at our house and didn’t use a single comparable listing in less than a mile. The closest was two miles away, even though my mortgage broker gave him five very good comps within a mile to use. One of which was .3 miles away and virtually the same house. My broker argued this and they took over a week to basically say screw you. I can’t believe I paid almost $600 for this.

Terrible service. I was the buyer and was referred to these people by our mortgage broker to obtain appraisal. They don't care that their appraisal arrangement would be late and would also hold up escrow. Representative would just say that they would reach out to appraiser, and that's it. And, they don't have email to give you either. Research and use someone else.

Absolutely atrocious appraisal management company, please do yourself a favor and use literally ANY other AMC because this is the worst one I have ever dealt with as a mortgage broker. "Managers" and "supervisors" are incredibly difficult to reach, and completely unprofessional once you finally do reach them. I had an inexcusable appraisal delay that nobody seemed interested in making right, and had it not been for the diligence of myself and the borrower the order would probably still be incomplete. Disgusting.

Wife was trying to speak to a human after company did not complete our appraisal on time. She remained on hold for 25 minutes until she hung up. 45 minutes on hold the second time until she hung up. Paid for appraisal 3 weeks prior to report due date. Did not give updates and found out the appraisal was being pushed back the day before it was due. I have no idea how they can be in business still. Lender should be responsible for hiring these clowns.

Currently still waiting on an appraisal that was due back 8 days ago. First Look says that the appraiser will not return calls, emails or text.
My client's rate is expiring and nobody at First Look really cares.
The 10 day appraisal guarantee should be called what it really is- 50% sale on Appraisals, since they never come back in 10 days, and they know it.
