After many years in social work, Jeanne began to desire a career that enabled her to continue being a positive source of support for people. Market your property on our website, local MLS, Craigslist, Facebook Marketplace, JWRE Facebook Page, Instagram, Virtual Tours on YouTube, JWRE storefront flyers and other sources. Arrange utility transfers to assure correct billing by the utility company, to place the obligation on the correct party.
You can pay by EFT or by check made out to Jeanne Walters Real Estate. For your property's security deposit details visit the property's website page then scroll down to the property's Financials section. If you have a routine maintenance request during business hours (M-F 9 am-5 pm, ) please call the office at 812 - 331 - 8951, or submit a maintenance request through the tenant portal. The following items constitute as an actual emergency and should be called in as soon as possible:. If there is only one bathroom in residence & you have made attempts to clear the stoppage yourself by plunging.
If you need help finding a Subletter we can list the home for you by-request for a separate administrative fee.* All remaining tenants in the home you are subletting must approve of the Subletter before going on to the next step. Payment can be made online in the application via credit card or ACH transfer, or in-person at our office.

What a terrible renting experience. I would encourage you to take your money elsewhere. Jeanne Walters real estate will charge you for absolutely everything that they can. Don’t expect to get your security deposit back. DOCUMENT EVERYTHING. The maintenance crew was also terrible! Multiple instances of having someone come out to fix something, only to not fix it properly! Then we’re right back to square one. Jeanne Walters is single handedly one of the worst places I’ve ever rented from. I implore anybody who reads this message; DO NOT RENT FROM JEANNE WALTERS REAL ESTATE.

- coronavirus? sure yeah come into the house that my immunosuppressed roommate is living in ✅
- insulation? may be there, but it's not good ✅
- appliances not working? you'll get a maintenance worker fast but they'll leave it broken in another way ✅
- blames stuff on the tenant to avoid responsibility ✅
- the walls are easier to move than the furniture was (be careful what walls you lean on) ✅
- fuse box in the backyard ✅
- did a previous tenant leave dents in the doors from hitting them? yes. did landlord

Jeanne Walters is by far, one of the best companies we’ve worked with! As an owner of a company here in Bloomington, they use our services throughout the year and have since early 2017. Every staff member there has always treated myself, and my employees with nothing but respect and a smile! They truly take the time to make sure their tenants stay in some of the nicest places in town (as we’ve been in most of their units, as well as a TON of other companies units throughout town). Extremely fast payment as well! Highly recommended!

Jeanne Walters Real Estate is a great group. I have lived in one of their properties for two years now, and have nothing but good things to say about them. Whenever maintenance was needed, they were always quick to respond and would have someone out to the property to fix the problem within 24 hours. Additionally, the property itself was well kept and clean. I would definitely recommend leasing from Jeanne Walters Real Estate because of their great service and properties. I usually don’t take the time to leave feedback about my experiences with companies, mostly because I generally don’t place a great deal of stock in the feedback left by others. All too often, only the very picky, negative people or perhaps those with ulterior motives take the time to write. However, sometimes one must simply give credit where credit is due. Let’s face it guys, moving kind of sucks…. It’s hard work, stressful, and drains us both mentally as well as physically, and very rarely happens without a hitch. Great local company to rent from; no absent landlord and clean property upon move-in. Very responsive to requests for maintenance, and everyone in the office is always friendly and helpful (Jackie in particular!). I had to move out of state for a new job in the middle of my lease and they took over showing the house and found me a subletter within a few months.

If I could give them 0 stars I would. Less than pleased with there service. We had the deposit down but they purposely delayed the signing process for our lease because they had an interested buyer. They never alerted us until the sale of the house was well underway. What they did was wrong and bad business. I would never use them again or go through them for any reason. I would definitely not recommend them to anyone.

I would rather rent a box on the street than deal with the idiotic excuse for a staff that they employ at Jeanne Walters. They were rude from the beginning. They are impossible to get a hold of. When my ceiling fell apart due to water damage in June, I immediately reported it. Contact with me was completely avoided and I even made frequent trips in person to no avail. With promises of discussing the damages -- that were caused by weather that somehow we were responsible for -- I was simply charged $860.00 instead of the discussion I was promised.
