We are very lucky that Santa Cruz High School as decided to partner up with Covello & Covello Photography for their senior portraits and sports photos.
Covello & Covello is a wonderful and accommodating family-owned business who clearly cares for their customers.
One example of this was when my 17 year old showed up to his senior portrait with an incredibly wrinkled shirt - they did not hesitate to bust out their steamer and meticulously steam it out for us without complaint! It was more than you can expect from busy professionals and was very sweet and made us feel right at home!

Covello & Covello did school pictures and senior portraits for Santa Cruz City Schools, as well as sports team photos, and we have had an easy time communicating with them to get additional photos. The photos also came out nicely. They rushed an order for me when I mentioned I was hoping to get the wallets into family Christmas cards.

I have to agree with others who have written that their customer service is very rude. They don't seem to enjoy dealing with their customers. They want customers to pay for photos sight unseen, which is completely ridiculous. Photographers are able to provide proofs before customers purchase and if this business cannot they should be left behind.

I definitely recommend Covello & Covello if you are looking for professional beautiful custom portraits. The photographer shot both my niece and my daughter's senior portraits and both came out beautifully. The photographer and assistant were both helpful and professional during my daughter's entire session to the point where we were all enjoying ourselves and having a great time during the shoot. The props and poises were perfect and I couldn't be more pleased.

C&C...... Here's my review or rather my opinion of these individuals..... I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. They are unprofessional rude & impatient. It was my friend's wedding, a special day, a Day to be remembered, cherished & full of amazing experiences & memories. Picture time, making suggestions for pics while the bride was getting ready, she was rude & sighed often. Picture time after the wedding itself, with the groom, bride & all the peeps involved in the wedding.... This lady was so rude & unprofessional I was getting pissed... Btw I was a

Covello and Covello did a beautiful job on my daughter's senior portrait. C&C handled her school yearbook photos, so we came in for the appointment. They were nice people who took time and care to make sure all the little details were just right. They took some time to talk to us afterward, taking notes on how we wanted the final result to look. They didn't rush us when we dithered on selecting the pose to send in. We were so happy with the photo that at the end of the school year we decided to use the portrait in her graduation announcements. They honored their offer to add

Covello & Covello is who my sons' school chose to do their photographs, do dealing with them wasn't a choice. That said, my opinion of them started at neutral--until I had to deal with them for senior portraits.
They made me pay 100% in advance of the photos (which is illegal in California), which are overpriced and of average quality in my experience, then told me the wait would be two months. When I emailed them in the interim to check status, they once again confirmed that the photos would be ready at the latest of a specific date.

I'm so pleased to write the first review for Covello & Covello. I had to have my first "professional" looking photo for a speaking engagement and threw myself at their mercy. Even though I wasn't bringing in much money, they treated me like I was their most important client.
They took a lot of photos and then we sat right down and went through them. They had great advice for which shot to choose, they did a little touching-up and emailed me the file. Not only was it super-easy but it was also kind of fun!
