My wedding bouquets were GORGEOUS.. Months later I STILL have people telling me how BEAUTIFUL the flowers were in my bridal bouquet, and the floral sprays for my decorations. I had a beautiful wedding in Monterey and her flowers and creations absolutely made it a dream.
My bridemaid (who has been part of over 20 wedding in the past 5 years ) said my flowers for the wedding party, my bridal bouquet, and decor were the most beautiful she's every seen.
Laura was SUPERB to work with. She was an absolute light in the chaos of my day. I LOVE looking at photos of my flowers from my wedding

I chose Laura for my first wedding back in 2003, initially because her website was completely up front about prices and were reasonable. She did such a fantastic job I kept her name and number for 15 *years* and was delighted to see she was still around when I was organizing for my second wedding. She has a great eye for color and texture, her flowers are peak fresh, and I got many extra touches that made the venue all the more complete. She's easy to work with. Even if you don't know anything about flowers and don't know exactly what you want, you can trust Laura to choose something

Laura Sweeley did a wonderful job making the flowers for our wedding! She was very friendly, responsive, stayed within our budget, and took care of everything so we didn't have to worry about the details. She even put together beautiful flowers for our chuppah! The day went smoothly and she was very professional the whole time we worked with her leading up to the wedding.

Laura arranged flowers for my wedding in Santa Cruz. She is so accommodating and very easy to work with! We met up couple of times to discuss the flower choices and designs. She incorporated what I wanted and worked magic! She also added flowers on my grapevine balls and manzanita branch. Everyone at the wedding loved her flowers :) I would highly recommend her!

Wow! Laura is the BEST florist! We had reserved her for a big wedding at Highland Park, and she was great to work with. She met us at the event planner's and interviewed with us for a good hour, going over our desires and theme for our wedding. She was great with communication and emails and she gave us a fair quote with all the little details included. We were all set but due to unforeseen circumstances we had to cancel the event.

Laura did the flowers for my wedding and all i can say is AMAZING! I met with her only one time before my big day to discuss the details, and she created everything perfectly! I don't know anything about the names of flowers, differences, etc, but I gave her a visual of the colors and textures I like, showing some photos, and she created all the bouquets, centerpieces, and archway exactly how i imagined! It actually exceeded my expectations. I would recommend Laura for ANY event you're throwing. She is very easy to work with, prompt with her responses, and very clear in her pricing. Looking

Found her through great reviews for a wedding venue and they didn't lie. Her flowers are beautiful and her prices are dirt cheap compared to everyone else in town. I told her the colors of the wedding, pictures that I found that were similar of what I liked and some flowers I liked.,,We met once for less than an hour and trusted her judgement...and the day of she shows up on time and the flowers were perfect. cake and cake table went from plain jane into something that was too pretty to eat. she knew the venue well so I didn't need to give her much direction. Amazing! Laura put together gorgeous wedding flowers for us on our big day. Everything was more beautiful than I imagined. The flowers were vibrant and arranged thoughtfully. Laura did the flowers for my wedding at the Chaminade in Santa Cruz in July and everything turned out even better than I imagined! During the wedding planning process, I didn't know exactly what I envisioned in regards to flowers and Laura helped me figure out what would work best while staying within my budget. On the day of the wedding, Laura arrived early to pin the boutonnieres on the boys and to deliver the bouquets to the bridal suite. My daughter asked me to help her choose a flower vendor for her wedding, and, in so doing, I had the opportunity to meet Laura. She is low key, unassuming and very friendly. My daughter expressed her desires, and Laura listened, offered suggestions, took some notes, and provided a very reasonable quote. When she delivered the flowers as promised for the wedding, my mouth dropped - they were more beautiful than I ever expected and the perfect signature to a fabulous wedding. Flowers were one of the things that were not as important to me as other aspects of my wedding. I sent an email to Laura (because she had other good reviews) and gave her a basic outline of what I wanted (four different colored bouquets/boutonnieres with my bouquet/groom's boutonniere having all four colors incorporated). I literally had maybe three emails with her and called it good. When the flowers showed up on the day of the wedding (on time), they were STUNNING. A hundred times better than I had expected. I go so many compliments -- I think it's just incredible that Laura nailed

I was planning a close friends baby shower and we had tried contacting several florist in the area, but Laura was the only one who was understanding about our budget and design. Not only was she very professional but very knowledgeable about different design techniques. In the end, the pomanders she created for our event were exquisite and we enjoyed the flowers long after the event. If you want someone reliable and great hire this woman!

Laura did a terrific job for our recent April 27th wedding. She was courteous, kind and professional right from the start and was extraordinarily helpful in providing proactive suggestions based on my tastes. To be clear, I am NOT a flower person, so I relied very heavily on her to create a look that fit my preferences (which I struggled to define at first myself) -- she was able to understand what I wanted and boy did she deliver on the day-of. I had never much cared what my flowers might look like but after the wedding, I became very sentimental about how beautiful my bouquet was to the point

I used Sweeley's Design Shop for my wedding last year in September for my wedding, Laura was recommended my wedding coordinator at the Chaminade. Laura, the owner, was amazing!!! She listened to all my needs and invisions for my wedding flowers. She also gave us some advice on what flowers to use that would compliment flowes that I wanted. She was always available and had a great attitude no matter how many times I had to change my order. The day of my wedding the flowers came on time and she did a great job decorating the ceremony aisle and the arch. The flowers exceeded my expectations,

Laura has done our last 3 graduation ceremonies in Santa Cruz, and I can't say enough about how beautiful her work has been, and how reasonable her prices are. I know I can count on her to do a great job, and show up on time. She has always been true to her word, which I value highly and is not common. I would highly recommend using her services.
