Gabriel King, a Master Jeweler and Craftsman whose work has been exhibited at the Berlin Museum of Art in his native Germany, arrived in the United States in 1989. He settled in Tampa and soon became know for jewels that were unique in both deign and quality. Among his many notable achievements was his be-jeweled rendition of Vincent Van Gogh's "Starry Night" painting, which was auctioned off in 1994 to benefit the University Community Hospital.

I had been looking for a jeweler to be able to match one of my ring's gems that I had cracked years ago. Jeweler after jeweler said that they couldn't match the cut nor the color of the other stone that is until Gabriel was recommended to me by a big name jewelry store. I was told that Gabriel was amazing and if anyone could help me, it would be him and guess what - he did and it was amazing. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this jewelry store. Had my wedding rings made by the amazing 👏 craftsmen at King's. Best rings I've ever had made two original pieces, A rose ring of red opels and a skull ring with red opal eyes. My now wife nearly took my fingers off she wanted it so badly 😅 didn't even get "will you" out my mouth before it was out of my hand.

I stumbled upon King Jewelers while checking the reviews on another jeweler that I was intending to use to reset my engagement ring. Most jewelers don't want to be bothered with custom work and will push you towards something in their case, but there are a few who specialize in custom work; and Gabriel at King Jewelers is one. I wanted two pieces of jewelry made. Came in the first week in Nov and was told they would be ready in a month. When I checked on the progress after 2 weeks, I was told they wouldn't be ready until after the holidays because he had other people's jewelry to work on. (So Nov- jan) two and a half months if not longer. I asked Gabrielle if he could do something for me since He had promised these pieces and now they wouldn't be ready. He responded no in a sneering way. I decided not to go with them.

If you ever need custom jewelry, repair work, resizing, then take it to Gabriel. He can do most anything.
I had a watch that I sent to the manufacturer for refinishing. They returned it saying they could not repair it - but Gabriel did.
He has been in International Mall for over 10 years but now has his own store. Easy parking in front.

I needed to get my wedding rings soldered and since they were a little loose needed some sizing balls put in. I called around and everyone else had a turnaround time of at least one day, if not longer. I called King Jewelers and they told me that they could usually have it done the same day. In addition to that, their pricing was spot on! Another local jeweler wanted to charge me more than double of what King Jewelers charged! I priced a few jewelers for replacing my watch battery, and decided to go with Kings in the mall. The places outside the mall were all kinda pricey, but at Kings for my sporty watch, it was 16+tax. This was months ago and im still very happy with it. I went back yesterday with a friend who had a luxury watch and the battery was 20 even. He does good work, to the point, and good price. Fyi, the rest of the places in international plaza charged upwards of 40. I will come back for my other watch and will definitely refer friends. Trustworthy place.
