My Envy Salon

I’ve been with Envy Salon since 2015 and it’s been the best experience I’ve had in a salon in a long time. I’ve always been paranoid with people touching my hair, but Yendry and Melanie are the only two people I would let style my hair. They’ve managed to dye my hair both red and blonde without having to bleach it, and they’ve styled my hair on multiple occasions over the last six years.

Michelle was wonderful! Friendly hip place, and she was great doing my short cut. I'll be back and definitely recommend.

She did me good. Very personal service. I will return. And she used natural products. Love it

Melanie was awesome! I was in town for a wedding and she booked me via email a couple of days before the event. She was super responsive via email and I was so grateful someone was willing to help me! She knocked it out of the park in less than 30 minutes. Thank you so much, Melanie!

This salon has the best stylists. I have been a customer for years and I won't let anyone else do my hair. The ladies are always a joy to be around and are very accommodating. They can do anything I want from wild colors to classy looks. They are always spot on!

Melanie is the best! Aside from the beautiful work she did on my hair, she has a beautiful heart. I felt very relaxed and cared for. Great, meaningful conversation made the whole experience even more fantastic. I am very happy with how my hair turned out. I'll definitely be heading back soon!!

All three of the stylists are so amazingly nice and welcoming to all walks of life! They treat each client with respect and kindness. I was nervous and intimidated when I first walked in there two years ago. Little did I know that they would welcome me with open arms. The atmosphere is so comfortable! Melanie does my hair and she never disappoints! Very reasonable prices and cutting edge coloring, cutting, and styling. The three stylist's passion for their job drives me to be a better person.

Today was my third visit with Chanel, she is amazing! I love the way she cuts & colors my hair. She really listens to you & will help you in the right direction if you need it. She is a confident & talented stylist. I have been in the area for 5 yrs & I have finally found "my stylist". I couldn't be happier!! Oh and the salon is beautiful.

I've cut my own hair for 10 years and decided to grow it out since I've had a chelsea cut that entire time. I didn't have the courage to cut my bangs off myself so I came to Envy. Melanie hacked all my bangs off and made me feel super at ease about the whole process! Once my hair grows out I'll definitely be coming back to Melanie!

I gave Yendry a year doing my hair. I have thin, fine, shoulder blade straight hair, dirty blonde by nature. It is not hard to accomplish great hi-low color to give definition. I did give it a year,
I left one time satisfied with cut/color. In a year of service, it took 20-30 minutes to foil full head. Then sat under dryer timed to :30, she sat at from desk on computer, never checked my foils. Then, wash...tried to stretch hair cut to 10 minutes, blow dry another 10 minutes.
So 50 minutes of her time cost anywhere from 146-175. The lighting is really bad, you can't tell your color

Melanie is phenomenal ! Once I moved to Austin, it took me 2 years to find a good hairdresser. Melanie is better than good. She always knows what I want and how I want it. I always walk out of her salon looking and feeling like a model ;-)

I loved this salon! My stylist Melanie was awesome and did exactly what I asked for on my hair cut and style. I have an allergy to smells, and most salons I've been to are too small and not aired out enough for me to be able to go there. This place was open and ventilated, had plenty of comfy seating and just felt really welcoming. I definitely found my new salon.

I was running about 10-15 minutes late to my 2:30 appointment (Austin traffic SUCKS) and I called and let them know. Melanie answered and was a complete sweetheart and said it'd be okay (she saved me from stressing over a loss of a prom hair appointment and trust me, I was freaking out!). I got there around 2:50 and I was done by 3:15 (I have very thick hair and wanted a updo). She worked fast and efficient while still conversing with me on a personal level. I went to Chanel today for a color and she was AMAZING!! I highly recommend her!! The salon is really nice and everyone was very pleasant! I just moved to the Austin area and was so nervous about having to find a new girl! She was so friendly and I was quickly put to ease! I have definitely found my new hair stylist!!

When I needed a last minute cut, and couldn't bring myself to go to a barber shop or a walk in place, I called My Envy. They got me in over my lunch hour with Yendry who gave me a killer cut for a reasonable price, and I was in and out in no time. I used my yelp 20 % off color coupon for a color refresh the next week, again, totally awesome. I left both times with sleek, well cared for hair. They also give you wine if you want it. The space is calm, spacious and relaxing. Highly recommended. I think I have found a new hair salon, and super excited that it is a local business in my neighborhood

Super cute cut! I wanted to go short but was afraid of a bad cut but was thrilled when Chanel boldly hacked away over half of my hair to leave a very professional, edgy pixie cut that I get compliments on all the time!

My hair was a rats nest. Long, frizzy, split ends and no haircut for a year other than my attempts to trim my own bangs. Had the most amazing experience with Chanel. She educated me on the best ways to get my hair healthy and gave me a fantastic haircut. Exactly what I asked for and I love it!! Happy!!

Very professional and dedicated stylists. If you're looking for a team of stylists who are great at what they do, and at a good price, I would definitely recommend coming here. And the atmosphere is so cozy and comfortable! I will be back in the near future :)

Since moving back to the Austin area 9 years ago, I had a hard time finding a stylist I liked. I went to downtown Austin boutiques, Ulta, everywhere I could find good reviews from Austin to Georgetown. The problem was A.) No matter how specific or how many pictures, I never got something I liked, and would move on to the next. B.) The worst part was the snobby attitude of these stylists at the boutiques! Melanie to the rescue! I called two years ago and talked to Melanie and have been a dedicated client ever since. Not only is Melanie one of the owners (love to Yendry too!) but she is as down

My friends know that I'm a review addict and will not go to places that are 3.5 stars and below, so I was very skeptical when a friend suggested I get a hair cut from My Envy Salon. But I really needed a haircut ASAP so I figured I'd give them a shot and help out a small business at the same time.
First impression: Very Texan and felt like home in downtown Round Rock. The antique furniture makes it look unique, the space is very wide open with tall ceilings which is refreshing. Friendly staff and they even provide FREE wine/beer/soda...SCORE!

Did a great job on my pink and white full set. Had to do my toes separate and it took longer than I had expected. But good quality work. Good prices too.

I ran into Melanie out and about, she was clearly very passionate about cutting hair. And I was due, was getting a little shaggy. I tried to call and schedule an appointment, left a message during business hours. Never heard back but e-mailed and got an almost immediate response and confirmed appointment.

Melanie was friendly and professional and gave a good haircut for a great price. Place had a good vibe, cool that it backed up to the bar next door. Definitely worth it if you need to get a little prettied up.

They are a bit far from where I work and live but ever since I have made the switch to MY Envy, it's difficult for me to go back to my old hair person! Here are my favorite parts:

1) Friendly and upbeat staff
2) They offer a free alcoholic (or non-alcoholic) drink
3) Reasonable price

The only negative thing I would say about the salon is they are closed on Sunday which makes it a slight inconvenience for my schedule. Maybe they'll change this in the future.

Other than that, I'm a happy customer and will keep coming!

Finally! A salon I really like in Texas! I've been here going on three years and haven't settled on any place i want to keep coming back to until now.

First of all Envy is a gorgeous space. Jay, the owner, has done so much with it! Its spacious and open and feels comfortable as soon as you go in. I don't know how he did it, but Envy has an atmosphere that is both trendy AND friendly, a rare combination!
