After a stint in the corporate world, I decided to pursue my dream of becoming a stylist. Upon graduating from cosmetology school in 2009, I spent 6 successful years as a stylist and manager of a busy Austin salon creating a reputation of rockin' work and superior customer service.
Rock Your Locks Hair Studio was established in 2015 and curly hair is my jam. I am certified in Rezo and Curl by Curl and am a DevaCurl Advanced Stylist in cuts and Pintura. I have trained with the Godmother of Curly Hair Lorraine Massey (author of The Curly Girl Handbook) and Master Curl Stylist Evan Joseph.

It's time to embrace and enhance your curls with a Rock Your Locks Curly Cut. Depending on your curl type and density, I will tailor your cut to best suit your needs. Hair is sculpted while dry, in its natural state, set with high quality, water based curl products and set to perfection. Your session includes curl education and personalized product recommendations.
Carefully curated tools just for you. Easy to order and delivered to your door. These are the tools I use in my home and for my clients in my studio. Rock Your Locks highly suggests that you purchase shampoos, conditioners and stylers with a trusted stylist or directly from your favorite haircare brand.
Rock Your Locks respectfully asks for 48 hours notice to cancel your appointment. Confirmation texts and e-mails are sent 72 hours in advance to give you plenty of time to reschedule if needed. Hey LIFE HAPPENS! I certainly understand if you are ill or have a true emergency. Guests that no show or cancel within 24 hours must pay for 1/2 of the appointment booked, must be paid before next appointment.

My hair was super dry and unhealthy. Gracie educated me on products, when to use them, and how to style my curly hair to get the results we both wanted to see. She is my "curly hair coach"! I appreciate her enthusiasm for her work and attention to detail. My curls are looking healthier these days and as a result, I'm enjoying my hair so much more!

GRACIE IS DA BOMB!!!! I had messed up, over processed colored, curly hair and I was close to shaving it off! Gracie not only fixed my hair, we went on a hair journey together and today my hair is loving its own life. Curls are coming back better than ever! Rock Your Locks owner, Gracie Daly, is one of the very best in the business. I was so glad and fortunate to find Gracie several years ago. I have challenging hair and Gracie has taught me so much and talked me through many issues. She researches and becomes certified in different specialties of hair care. Her salon is always clean and she takes the covid protocols seriously. Gracie is also an amazing person...so kind, listens, respectful and a great sense of humor. Finally found someone who could cut my hair right!!! Gracie is so sweet and always makes sure she knows exactly what I want done! Best place that I have gone to, that can cut my curly hair to look good both naturally and when straightened! Also with covid Gracie has made sure to take the necessary precautions! Again I really love going to Gracie for my hair and would definitely recommend!

I've been doing a version (not all techniques) of the Curly Girl Method for my wavy hair. Since doing it, I wanted to get a specialist cut for it. I am so glad I did and that I found Gracie. We sat and chatted about what I am doing now, products, technique and what I was wanting to get out of the cut. I'm a minimal maintenance person with my hair, one or two products and that's it. Gracie is fantastic and friendly, but mostly she does GREAT hair. She listens to me and does what I've asked. She never styles my hair in a way that this busy mom can't reproduce, and she doesn't press me about buying products. I've got mad curly hair and she has seen me from a shaggy out-growth of a shaved head through to the stacked bob I'm wearing now. I never once looked like a mushroom-head! She took good care of me before my baby was born, too, giving me a great cut that didn't need maintenance for a while.

I moved to the area a few years ago and have a hard time trusting people with my hair. The lady that did my hair in my hometown did it for a decade. So I was desperate to find someone, but wary on who to trust. I'm so glad I was referred to Gracie!
Scheduling with her is easy, she has the best products, and my hair has never looked better. I completely trust her with my hair and won't go to anyone else.

Gracie's the best! I've been seeing her for about 4 years now, following her from her last salon to now. She's friendly, personable, and takes the time to listen to what I want. She's open to new things, and is great with giving her feedback to what could be improved upon.
I initially just saw her for haircuts, but that has extended to lip/brow waxing and haircolor. She even recently took me from my natural brunette to a caramely dark blonde! Which I was really nervous about (such a change for the first time ever) but it turned out beautiful! I've had so many compliments

Gracie is a fantastic stylist and her new location is super convenient. I especially love how much time she takes with a cut and explains how to recreate the look at home. Today, I chopped off 10+ inches of hair, something I wouldn't trust to just any stylist! I've been a client for years, and can't imagine going anywhere else.
