At FitLIFE Charleston we aim to make fitness a lifestyle. Our number one goal is to positively impact the lives of our clients by giving them the ultimate personalized workout experience. Here you aren't a member, but a part of our fitness family. To achieve our mission we focus on providing personal training that is tailored to the goals of the client no matter their fitness level, age, or previous injures.

We strive to make our programs fun, safe, informative and with the most up to date knowledge in the fitness industry today. Jake started in the fitness industry in 2007 when he graduated from the University of South Carolina Upstate with a bachelor's degree in Corporate fitness.

I moved from a large city training at Equinox with a celebrity trainer so my expectations were very high. When i got to Charleston I went through countless terrible trainers before I found Taylor at FitLIfe. The studio is immaculate, the work outs are always challenging but tons of fun, and catered specifically for my goals and my injuries.
I had a shoulder injury that Taylor worked around. He also has a background in nutrition and gave me so many tips that really helped me continue my progress outside the gym. He's just easy going, funny and a nice guy which distracts from the work out and makes

This place is awesome! I've worked with both Jake and Taylor and would recommend them to anyone. Even after we moved from Charleston I still come in for a workout every time I'm back in town. You won't regret giving them a try!

I’ve never consistently worked out until I started working with Jake at FitLife. Instead of wondering a gym, I know that I’m going to have a solid 45 minutes of a workout that is tailored to my individual goals. The accountability definitely helped me so now I can definitely say I consistently work out. I feel stronger than ever and absolutely recommend FitLife!

Jake is easy-going and a great trainer. He's motivating without being in your face, and incorporates different methods in his training. Each workout is different and dynamic. He'll customize training for each individual, all the while explaining and breaking movements and exercises down-- instead of most trainers who say "look at me, if it works for me it'll work for you."

I really enjoyed the workouts I had there because they were all very varied and you never get bored. The trainers really push you hard, so you give your best during each workout. It is a very friendly environment and everyone is fun to talk to.

Making the move to personal training has been a great decision. I am getting the most benefit I have ever received from an exercise program. My excitement to work out has returned with one on one personal attention. And I won't ever have to wait on a machine again. Thank you, Fitlife Charleston!

Fitlife has been a great way for me to get back into shape just in time for summer! I've never been much for gym training and therefore, had never really been taught proper technique. Jake started with the basics and always made sure I was using proper technique to avoid any injuries and maximizing the benefit of the different exercises. It's great to have one on one training that specifically focuses on your problem areas. Laid back and fun atmosphere! Highly recommend Fitlife!

At 43, I decide to add weightlifting and resistance training to my cardio and yoga routine. Taylor tailor made a program to help me meet my goals! Taylor is always ready, never cancels, and is fun, personable, knowledgeable, flexible, and professional! He pushes me and keeps me laughing! I highly recommend Taylor and Jake!
