He normally doesn't like to be left in large groups but he flourishes at taekwondo class and is so eager to go each time. I also love how instantly all of the instructors knew his name and don't forget it, that's amazing! My name is Donovan, I'm seven years old. I am a Taekwondo student and I've been taking Taekwondo for two months.

I’m very impressed and happy with Charleston Taekwondo-Summerville. We did the trial session, and by the end of the second class we signed up. The instructors are amazing, and are so patient with the little kids. I have a very cautious child and wasn’t sure how he was going to do, but he has been thriving. I cannot wait to see how much more my child grows with confidence and skill through this program.

Our daughter Riley thoroughly enjoys her taekwondo classes at CTKD. Her confidence, coordination, listening skills, physical fitness, and character have all grown so much since she began. She is so excited to continue working towards her black belt! All of the staff is extremely professional, trustworthy and knowledgeable. Teachers adapt well to teaching all different ages and abilities. Facility is immaculately clean and well maintained.

My daughter was hesitant to try taekwondo, but after the first lesson, she was excited. This is her third week, and I believe, she loves it!!! The staff and parents have been fabulous. I am looking forward to her growth for years to come. I highly recommend Charleston Taekwondo.

This organization is fantastic! I was a little skeptical at first, only because I did not know how my grandson would be accepted. But from day one my grandson has loved it and he has been treated fairly and with the utmost respect. I love that they are teaching and reinforcing the same character traits we do at home.
I highly recommend Charleston Taekwondo to everyone. Thank you Charleston Taekwondo for providing a physical and social outlet for my boy. I love it!

When we moved to Mount Pleasant from Summerville we got placed on a wait list for after school. I signed my son up for Charleston Taekwondo's after school program. After the waitlist was over I never gave it a thought to switch him out. I love my son going here instead of after school. He learns so much in regards to not only school work but self respect, confidence, and has amazing role models.
A year in a half later he has signed up for extra programs including Leadership. He's learning how to be a role model and a leader.
I would recommend this program to everyone!!!! Hands down

My son is in his second year at Charleston Taekwondo. We had participated in other Taekwondo organizations before moving to Charleston. This is beyond any other type of Taekwondo that we have encountered. Master Rider is the key here. He is an olympic athlete and it shows. The students are encouraged and held to a high standard. He is a professional business person. He makes the parents part of the process for the child to learn.
There are specialty classes, classes for younger children separate from the older students and adults, the ability to travel to competitions and the push to succeed

I am active duty military and my son has been involved with Taekwondo since first grade. As we have moved around the country he previously studied at 2 other places. This is his third program and by far the best. Master Rider really nows how to push the kids to succeed. The sport aspect of the program is awesome , but he does not sacrifice discipline or structure. Highly recommend it
