So first off I have been doing my job for a very long time now. I am hired by people to check out jewelers in different areas. My experience with this gentleman was very unimpressive. I had asked if he could check a couple of pieces that I had picked up. I offered to pay for it. The one main piece I want it checked he made a joke about it basically. When I laid it on the counter he did not even bother to take the time to even look at the setting, he told me right off it was a QZ. All I have to say is that some people will never learn that looks can be very deceiving he should’ve

Literally the best jeweler in the 505. We first saw Pat and Lucille to replace a battery in my favorite Snoopy watch. Eventually bought a custom wedding band, jacket style that my engagement ring fit perfectly. Honest, friendly, and great service. Lil Bella greets me when we go in. Pat and Lucille are like family. Highly recommend. You're seriously missing out if you don't stop in.

Around the first part of August 2018, I took some jewelry to be repaired to Dad's Fine Jewelers. Pat has known and done business with me and some members of my family for over 20 years.I expected a warm welcome as usual, but he was talking with customer and/or friend, totally ignoring me. He looked up, did not wave or say anything, and went on talking. I stood there for about 10-15 minutes. Many positive reviews on Google guided me to Dad's Fine Jewelers when I was looking for someone to re-purpose an old wedding ring. Patrick pulled out the center stone and made it into a pendant for me at an reasonable price. As he put it, I gained a $1200 necklace for about $150, out of a ring that I wasn't going to wear anymore. They offered to buy the gold form the mounting from me, but I decided I wanted to keep it and maybe one day insert a colored stone instead. Just need to save up. I have been doing business with Pat for over 20 years. His integrity and skill is second to none. I have bought watches, necklaces, earrings, and my wife's engagement / wedding ring from him and have never had any issues.

This was among one of the great situations i could have asked for. Long story short, i had purchased an engagement ring while in the bahamas for my imminent fiancé . Rose gold band with a half carat diamond. Got it resized back in the states and the rose gold was washed off. In other words the ring wasn't what it was cracked up to be. In the midst of returning the ring, i was recommended to dads fine jewelry by my mother who had some work done by the owner on a watch for my father. Let me just tell you that this wasn't just your run of the mill jeweler who was just trying to make a sale

Can you review less than one star? I would absolutely NEVER recommend this place to anyone. The owner and his wife are completely self absorbed and will not take any credit for their rudeness, their lack of integrity or their slow pace. I will admit that their work is good, but if you're willing to work with jacked up pricing, pricing changing depending on their mood and when they actually work, then this is the place for you.
