Services
What does Full Service Catering mean? It means that we can take care of every aspect of your event besides the food if you need it. Rentals, staffing, event planning, flowers, live music - we can take care of it all so you don't have to! We need help finding other vendors for our event, can you help?
Foodie Call has three organic urban gardens within one mile of our kitchen that are used extensively and exclusively for our catering business. We grow an assortment of herbs, a huge variety of heirloom vegetables, and over a dozen types of edible flowers. As an eco-friendly company, we make composting and other sustainable practices a priority.
Our menus are custom designed per event to perfectly fit the occasion and your particular tastes. From time to time we open up our tasting room to the public and offer gourmet to go. Pop-Up Take-Out is a temporary take-out restaurant that's usually open only for one day. It's a fun way for us to create something new and a great way for you to come see what we do - and how well we do it.

I've been here a couple of times now to pick up some take and bake empanadas. They are spectacular.
My wife and I've have now had all of the savory empanadas. I would be remiss if I didn't tell you that we get them frozen and heat them up in the oven before eating, and I don't know if they can get any better, but I'll have to try them fresh baked.
The store itself if fairly non-descript, so you may miss it if you don't know where it is. I texted my order in advance and was immediately texted an invoice which I could pay on my phone. Easy peasy.

I contacted Matt for catering of our wedding next year, he took a while to respond via email, so I called him- he was super pleasant to speak with and following our phone conversation he sent me a large questionnaire (about food/menu) to fill out that was very detail oriented. After getting the questionnaire, I was excited about the draft menu he would send to us. He emailed back saying the menu would be created in 48 hours. Matt provided food for a charity function that I ran in September. Not only did Matt communicate the menu with me prior to the event, but he also sent me pictures of the amazing produce that he used to create the dishes. His communication prior to the event was great, he asked important questions and arrived early to ensure everything would run smoothly. Everyone who attended commented that the food was delicious, and I agreed with everyone. I would highly recommend Matt for future events, I was extremely happy with the Foodie Call.

I've been lucky enough to have attended several events that Foodie Call has catered, and Matt's food is consistently DELICIOUS. Ditto his pop-ups. And I'm pretty sure I saw God when eating one of his Mushroom Empandillas. He's super talented, and there's clearly a ton of care and love in everything he serves. In a word: YUM!

This caterer arrived an hour late with the food still frozen. He drenched his BBQs with lighter fluid to catch up, but had set them up in front of the open door so the whole venue got gassed. Of course, the food was served late and all the scheduled plans for the event were in turn delayed. The food was tasty and well presented, but there was not enough. The owner was dissing his own employees as he was running around, saying he thought they were on drugs and he was going to fire them all. When we approached Matt with a super weird menu request for 20+ people at our back yard rehearsal dinner (on semi-short notice!) he embraced our plan. Matt exceeded our expectations in many ways: when we requested pierogi, he made them by hand, when we noted our tiny kitchen, he maximized the space, and when we dropped the vegetarian guest bomb on him, he made it his personal goal to provide them with their own special meal. Matt is incredible. The food is delicious and the experience was AMAZING!!! I worked with Matt to have a Cuban Dinner Night all you can eat for a large group of members, and expectations were exceeded. The new space is beautiful, and Matt worked very hard to make the overall food experience exactly what we wanted. Matt is great to work with. We used him to cater our 175 person wedding this summer and our experience was fabulous from start to finish. Food was one of the most important aspects of our wedding and Matt personalized our menu to represent our style and taste. His menus are creative and he uses fresh ingredients. I am not even sure where to start with this review because I have so many AMAZING things to say about Matt and his team at Foodie Call Catering. From the food tasting process to the actual event, Foodie Call was an outstanding choice for our Labor Day weekend wedding. When it came to the tasting process, other caterers sent me more generic menus and ideas for our big day, but Matt just had us come into his shop where he cooked for us on the spot. It was such a fun night! We brought our moms and Matt educated us on his entire process and why he is so passionate about what he does.

Wow! Foodie Call Catering is top notch! I first met Matt at an event several years ago and I got the chance to chat with him after he served up an amazing menu for a private party at someone's home. Matt is the real deal when it comes to quality food, grown right in his Denver garden, and served to please a variety of pallets.

Totally awesome from start to finish. Matt was easy to work with, up front, straight forward, creative and open to all my crazy ideas and requests catering a buffet style 100 person wedding reception. We had a lot of fun planning with him, and the event went seamlessly, like a well oiled machine he made everything happen perfectly without any appearance of effort (though I have no doubt it took lots of effort!!) I went to a "pop up menu" held by Foodie Calls Catering after hearing about them on a local facebook page. The food was generous, beautiful and delicious. Matt (chef extraordinaire) worked with my husband and I to create a unique and diverse menu that reflected our heritage and favorite foods. This is some fantastic local catering (he uses many ingredients grown in a backyard garden!) by a super personable, super talented man.
