If I could give a zero i would. Property old. Rooms had a stinky smell, old bedding. Would not recommend. The next morning took my suitcase to my car went had breakfast with friends, went back to my room to ensure everything was out of the room. The housekeeper was already in the room. I went to the office ask the clerk what time check out was she told me 11 it was only 10:30. Are you kidding me roger reply was oh sorry. Don't waste your money.

We stayed for two nights and the Beachwalker was a great spot. The staff was very helpful and our room was spotless clean. It was very quiet and all amenities were great. The room was newly updated and the bed was comfortable. There was a dining table, microwave and fridge/freezer. This was the perfect room for enjoying the town. The sitting area was not furnished, it appears they are wrapping up their improvements, though when we asked for a couple chairs they brought some out immediately. Great spot!

Beware when booking through Trivago, or other online booking agencies. You'll be offered a breakfast and right to cancellation if you pay an extra $12. You will arrive only to find there are no breakfasts offered at all. Good location, and a fair room. But, don't fall for the breakfast deal. You'll lose your money.

At first sight, my room looked decent. I was traveling solo And had no guests. After taking a shower, I went to bed. When I awoke, and kicked off the top sheet, I noticed a large blood spot on the fitted sheet 3"-5"in size. This was left by previous guest(s) and for sure not me. I then inspected the top sheet only to see a dry yellowish mess on it. I can only guess that the previous guests had a lot of fun in that bed previous to me. Fact: bed was made, sheets definitely were never changed.

Our weekend stay at the Beachwalker Inn in Cayucos, Ca. was an interesting one. Check in went well. Got a corner Queen Suite with Kitchenette on the second floor. First thing i noticed when entering the room besides the room painted in powder blue and bright red was a small flatscreen computer monitor (not even a tv) poorly mounted to the wall behind the front door. When door was open it blocked the tv. Large front room window facing the ocean had white paint splattered all over it. Also the window slid open all the way. Something i was happy about because being in a second floor room, windows

This place claimed to have WiFi- but they don't. Classic false advertising. We we booked a room with the intentions of working remotely on our vacation. Upon arrival, we had difficulties connecting to WiFi. After multiple attempts we talked to the manager. He told us it was our issue with our laptops- not their WiFi, but their IT guy was coming in to fix it.
It never worked for us and after reading the reviews-it turns out they tell the same thing to other guests.
We had our local friends call the motel and inquire about WiFi. They told our friends that they had WiFi, but when our friend

When I booked the room , it said breakfast was included. When I got there , there was a sign that said "No Breakfast ".
I paid for this room with breakfast INCLUDED!
No discount was offered so I asked . Nope . So now I have hungry kids in the morning.
Coffee in the room - one cup serving . TWO adults. ONE cup of coffee. Gee thanks.....
Bathroom NOT clean. And this right after Covid!
Add to the fact the "host" (who I could barely understand ) said to all my questions-" I have to talk to the manager who is not here". I would think the staff should be properly

We came to this hotel to stay for two nights on a family vacation for a family member with stage 4 cancer. All together we got 5 rooms. Everything was great until we looked in the freezer... THERE WAS DEAD COCKROACHES. We alerted the manager who proceeded to tell us that all he could do was either give us a refund and check out but there was no rooms available in any hotels in the area.( its spring break and easter weekend) So he proceeded to say all he could do was give us a 15% discount which would only be $65 to stay in the same room where we found the cockroaches or switch rooms and get no

This is the first review we've bothered to make in our 42 yrs of marriage. Waking to the noise of heavy construction(elec.saws, hammers) & crew yelling & playing loud music continued during the entire 4 days. A hose across the wet walkway at the entrance to our disabled room at one point, the exposed wires, uncovered elec. outlets etc., showed it was clearly still under construction,as well. That no mention of this was disclosed at the time of reservation, meant that our money was their goal. Not our rest, relaxation ,or sleep. We didn't want the sweet, & thorough housekeeping staff to get any backlash

Will never be booking a stay here again. They lost my reservation and wouldnt admit it. Staff at front desk was so rude and unhelpful. Found a much better room and price over at the Cayucos beach inn. I cant believe i was going to stay at the beachwalker inn, everything there is so outdated and cheap compared to the caycous beach inn. They were going to charge us over 200 for a handicap room and the other place got us in for the whole week stay for about 175 a night! Not bad for last min in a nice spot

Electric outlet on wall had no wall plate, electrical box exposed. black mold in bathroom and bathroom door handle ready to fall off. Fireplace didn't work. Front door didn't close properly. Old chair and ottoman stunk of pee and falling apart. and the room is supposed to a handicap room, there is no handicap shower head and the front door would really be a challenge for a handicapped person to open and close the door. one more thing, I don't think the fire alarm is working, I watched it for awhile and didn't see a red light blink.

I chose this hotel because it was relatively inexpensive (although not cheap). I was meeting up with some friends who were camping in the area, and basically just needed a place to sleep. The pictures looked OK. When I arrived, there was no one at the front desk. I waited about five minutes until a sloppily-dressed woman came in the front door and acted only slightly surprised that no one was helping me. Trying to park was a problem, since there were construction vehicles and a large dumpster taking up much of the parking lot. (I guess there was more parking around back, but I didn't want

I only have it a 1 star because couldn't go lower. Never will stay here again Had to use handicap room due to spouse and it was great for space but I'm glad he didn't need to shower. There was NO hot water to shower with. I wanted to wash my hair and couldn't even. Just enough pressure to wet the washcloth and I took thhose apart and saw no pressure eIther. Room also had this great big spot on the red wall which appears to be patched. Doesn't look good. Telephone in the room isn't even hooked up to the damn front desk. What happens should I need emergency services

The positives? Walking distance to beach, and clean room. The negatives? Pretty much everything else.
Initially, I thought this was a reasonable deal - to be able to stay in Cayucos in July for 3 people with breakfast for $140. Not so much.
This location is not in the heart of town, has tight parking, lacks a pool or hot tub, thus not much for a family to enjoy at the Inn. You need to walk or drive to the beach or downtown for entertainment.
The front patio space has potential for a hang out spot, but alas it's a hodge podge of old furniture, empty flower pots, a fire pit with no
