My kid get her teeth fixed there. She has a difficult problem, but Dr. Van Allen came up a plan we like without more invasive procedures. Located at the busy intersection between Wilshire and Westwood Blvd, it is conveniently located. Parking is expensive at the bottom the the building, if you don’t mind a little walking, park in the Westwood park and walk for 5 minutes.

I had successful orthodontic procedure done by Dr, Nuckles a couple of years ago and am extremely happy with the personal attention I received and the results. Went to the offie yesterday for a concern I had and Dr. Van Allen saw me right away without an appointment and answered my questions. Good results and friendly staff. If you need an orthodontist, Dr. Nuckles is a great choice.

I just left this office with my daughter, and once again the sour disposition of the the woman at the front desk has left a bad taste (pun intended). Unfortunately, this isn't a one off...this experience repeats itself every time I need to schedule the next appointment. It's too bad, because the rest of the staff is lovely.

I can't say enough wonderful things about Dr. Nuckles and her entire practice. From the moment we walked in, to a printed sign greeting my son by name, it was a completely different experience than other orthodontists. My son had been crying and afraid at another practice, and when we left here he actually said, unprompted, "I love Dr. Nuckles!" after just meeting her. She is experienced, knowledgeable, well connected with dentists and oral surgeons on the West Side, and radiates positive energy and kindness.

Great staff. Very efficient and professional. Saw my child in a bind and made us all feel so cared for. Reliable, responsible and very clear up front about any and all needs/costs etc. The Dr and her entire staff are so pleasant and reassuring with all children and adults. Wouldn't go anywhere else!

I love this office and everyone in it. I'm a middle aged, professional man. I was not
looking forward to this experience when I started this process. However, Dr Nuckles
and her staff have been beyond accommodating and the results are incredible.
I have already referred two other professionals who were interested in a better smile...and
their experience matches mine.
I don't think I would have been able to see this process through were it not for the support

I just called to schedule a free consultation. They asked if I have seen an orthodontist and I said yes, I have seen two and they are different ends of the scale. She said they charge $125 for a "second opinion" but that it is rolled into the fee if I choose to go with them.
Orthodontic services cost between $2,000 to $5,000+. It seems like orthodontist offices assume that once you step into their office that is the only office you are allowed to see. If I am going to pay that much money on a service (most insurances don't cover orthodontics), I should be able to shop around

I started Invisalign at this office several years back. I was going through *a lot* of stress and found it difficult to remember to put in or change my trays, but had paid for the entire set of Invisalign trays in full early in the treatment. I Think Dr.Nuckles is a great orthodontist! She is very professional and she has a great staff-both front office and back! Her chairside assistant, Michelle, has been with her "forever". It's nice to see an office that has consistent staff. It does get really busy in the afternoons-but that's to be expected.
Dr.Nuckles even saw my step daughter when she was living in Los Angeles mid treatment and was able to fill in and keep the treatment going as planned.

We recommend Dr. Nuckles to EVERYBODY! My daughter still had lots of baby teeth at 13, but several orthodontists were ready to strap her in a chair and put her through "phases" of braces that would have taken extra time and money to complete the work. Dr. Nuckles told us it would be fine to wait until her permanents came in. We did and are so happy with the results. She and her entire staff are kind and professional, very informative and willing to explain and listen. They worked with us on a payment plan that was great for uninsured patients. Beware of the billing practices!
The service of Dr. Nuckles is adequate and the staff of her orthodontics office seemed friendly. However, I found their billing practices to be questionable. My insurance policy covered 50% of the quoted price and I paid the other 50% upon my first visit to the office. Weeks later when I received the insurance letter with the explanation of the charges, I discovered that the staff at Dr. Nuckles’ office had quoted to me a higher price for the procedure than it submitted to the insurance company. Consequently, the amount I had paid directly to Dr. Nuckles' office
