We later brought in a family ring that I was given, and Dean was able to clean and repair this ring within 1 week prior to the wedding, and cleaned up our rings to "showroom" ready

I came in with a tricky broken watch. Staff greeted me right away and were so friendly. They fixed my watch instantly and when I got out my wallet they told me it was free of charge. Great customer service and friendly staff. Would highly recommend and would come back in a heartbeat.

We were visiting the area and staying at the RV park at the fairgrounds. The small ring that holds my St. Christopher's medal to the chain broke and I came here to have it fixed. It was close by, that's all I knew, but now I realize I stumbled onto an 80 year old store that is first class in every way. The gentleman that waited on me blew me away when he examined my medal and asked if I went to Italy for it. Well yes, yes I did, but how in the world did you know that? Was it stamped on the back? No, he knew because of how thin it was an being 18k, which apparently is often the case

Dean Shallow, the owner, met with me and really seemed interested in making my engagement experience the best it could be. I met with him several times to buy my fiancé the "right" ring while also buying small "infinity" rings for my daughters and my soon-to-be step-daughter. He was ridiculously knowledgable and easy to work with. I will recommend him to anyone looking for personal service and wise advice.

I needed to have a watch band sized for a watch I received as a gift. I also needed batteries replaced in two older watches. For years I went to Hawkins Clock Center. Because their watchmaker retired, they referred me to Shallow Jewelers. When I walked in, the Jewelry Sales person was attentive to my needs and very kind in finding exactly what I wanted. Their watchmaker adjusted the band, replaced a pin in one of the other watch, changed the batteries and thoroughly cleaned my watches and bands. Great family owned business run by people who know how to take care of a customer. For me it started with a recommendation from a friend that they were one of only two true watch repair places in Milwaukee. Not only did they do a great job on restoring my grandfather's watch but then were very helpful in picking out an engagement ring and our attendents gifts. Great people!

This review is for the watch repair portion of this shop, specifically Richard Trissel's services. I went in with an old 1920's Waltham pocket watch. Richard initially thought the spring had jammed, as did I. I left the watch with him for repairs. A few days later, he called me to tell me it had been a loose screw that had come loose and jammed the watch and that the spring was in fine shape. It turns out he had had to ask four different watch shops before he could hunt down the correct screw. What a champ! Friendly, helpful staff makes this an enjoyable jewelery shopping experience. They don't have a huge selection, but there is a good variety of quality pieces. I bought a fairly priced bracelet for my wife a couple years ago which she liked and still wears. Was just in here again and had our wedding rings cleaned. They offered us coffee while we waited, but it was really only about 10 minutes. Just about enough time to peruse the current selections. The rings came back shiny and new, they did a great job. Only thing is I thought the price for the cleaning was a bit much at $40/ring as
