Established in 1978, John's Italian Restaurant was formerly known as Benny & John's Restaurant. The Squatrito family, owners and operators of John's Italian in Hamlin, have been serving fine food since 1978 when John Squatrito first opened for business with his brother-in-law Benny. Now, his wife Enza, daughter Adriana and son Anthony continue the tradition of providing excellent Italian-American cuisine.
We're serving up fresh Italian Cuisine that's both innovative and traditional at a location convenient to you. Delicious seafood, meat and vegetable pastas, grilled fish, salads, sandwiches, desserts and a wine list to complement our food are the reasons everyone enjoys frequenting John's Italian Restaurant.

I order from johns last night 5/1/2021. we order pretty frequently as they are down the block. we ordered some pizza and a bunch of heroes. My PREGNANT wife got a chicken parm hero and ate a good portion of the sandwich and complained of it tasted weird. i didnt think anything of it they were pretty busy so maybe it was just over cooked. Turns out the exact opposite. Raw breaded chicken with sauce and melted parm. Not under cooked literally RAW CHICKEN.

Salad was a dog's breakfast.
Server was terrible. No mask. Main woman at the incoming counter didn't even know how to wear her mask. Ashley did the work for two people while the bartender and the other servers were too busy eating their supper.
The only thing that was good was our main dishes. They ran out of clams but yet the server still took an order for them. Margarita - didn't have a lime because they were out of that too.
Scale 1-5 : 2.5
Johns in Greentown will see us more often before we ever come back here again.

Bait N Switch/False Advertising! We stopped here because of the sign of 2 large pan pizzas for $14.95 we placed our order for 4 pizzas with pepperoni. When we picked up the pizzas, the bill was for $38. I inquired how $14.95 times 2 equals $38. The old woman who took my order informed me that it was because we ordered them with pepperoni... Toppings are extra. I showed her the picture of their sign which placed no such stipulations. It just said "2 Large Pizzas". There was nothing about toppings being extra or that price was for cheese only. She then abruptly took my phone from my hand and swiftly
