Dr. Cheryl is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics. This means in addition to her specialized training and education in orthodontics, she was reviewed by a group of experts in the orthodontic field, in a process which takes several years to complete. ABO certification is a high distinction which is awarded to an orthodontist only after a rigorous process of written and clinical examinations has been successfully completed.
The American Board of Orthodontics was founded in 1929. It is the oldest and most prestigious specialty board in dentistry. The ABO's aim is to elevate the standards of the practice of orthodontia, to familiarize the public with its aim and ideals, and to protect the public against irresponsible and unqualified practitioners.

I consulted few other orthodontists before seeing Dr. Cheryl Guerrero. She took her time to explain to me the different approaches that can help correct me teeth. She offered the most efficient way and the least bothering way that might take longer. I picked the most efficient way of using the traditional arch wires.

Our third kid just got his braces off today. We can't say enough about Dr. Greenspan and now Dr. Guerrero and their entire staff. We are so pleased at the results and how much they truly do care about their patients. Our three kids have great smiles. There are many orthodontists our there; how do you choose? Dr Cheryl Guerrero and her staff have just been amazing. First, having dentists in the family, I can tell that technically, the job that has been done on my mouth is top notch. I went in with low expectations, believing that not much could be done for my mouth, the result was very well beyond that. In addition to that, Dr Guerrero and her staff have always been extremely flexible and nice to me, adapting to my requests and making sure the treatment matched my own constraints as well as the orthodontic constraints. Dr Guerrero did some additional work for free to make sure the final result was perfect

Love the doctor and the staff. My son just got his braces off and they have been wonderful the last 1.5 years. Also very patient with trying to work around school and work schedules.
The doctor is also conservative in a good way, not pushy with services, etc. She is also knowledgeable and thorough. Would highly recommend!

Dr. Cheryl and her staff are amazing! Great service and they are so accommodating - I've had to change my appointments several times because things happen. Everyone is so professional and efficient. You can tell that everyone enjoys what they do and that they are very knowledgeable about it.
I originally came in to get my permanent retainer removed, from when I had Dr. Greenspan. My teeth had shifted a lot, and Dr. Cheryl offered a reasonable plan with clear plastic retainers (instead of a mouth full of metal) to get my teeth straight again. I could not be more grateful for my smile now!

From the moment you step into My Smile to the moment you step out, there is an approachable warmth from all members of Dr. Cheryl's team. I'm 21 and just started my treatment a little less than a year ago and only have had positive experiences. Whether it be last minute scheduling issues that caused me to reschedule appointments or accidentally cracking my Invisalign, everyone there was incredibly flexible and accommodating to my needs which only helped to facilitate the comfortable environment that is present from the get go! Believe the positive reviews! My daughter recently finished her Invisalign treatment and as we were leaving I said sincerely "we're so bummed we won't be seeing you guys anymore!" Little did I know my daughter was going to grind through one of her "permanent" retainers in just a few weeks. The office was able to squeeze us in the next day and did not charge for the replacement, and we ordered a stronger nightguard to avoid having the problem in the future. Only advice is to schedule regular appointments as you are leaving as popular times tend to book up.

We are really pleased of the service provided here in this office. Both my kids have their ortho work here. The staff and doctor are all very professional and super friendly; the office is always decorated seasonal kid-friendly. Another important aspect is that the staff handled the insurance work so well and communicated to us effectively; and indeed it left us hassle-free!

I highly recommend Dr. Cheryl for adults and for kids. She worked a miracle on my son's very crooked teeth (braces). I'm also very pleased with the results of my invisalign treatment with her. The staff is very friendly and competent. They do a great job working around my often inflexible schedule. Phone calls are always answered (never straight to voicemail, never put on hold). Dr. Cheryl and the staff at My Smile Orthodontics are AMAZING! I have one son just finishing treatment and one just starting treatment. Both my boys love "the girls" in the office. The staff connects with them and make them feel special at every visit. They are always interested about their school day and sporting events. I started my treatment about a year ago and the whole process has been flawless. The staff is very friendly and knowledgable. It has been very easy to schedule appointments even last minute. My daughter and I were both seen by Dr. Cheryl and she has great rapport with kids and adults. Both Dr. Cheryl and the staff take their time to ensure all questions and concerns are answered. I dragged my feet for years trying to avoid having to get adult braces. I finally did it and I cannot thank Dr. Cheryl enough for giving me a beautiful smile. I never thought my teeth could be this straight! The whole staff is awesome and Dr. Cheryl was very patient with my very impatient personality. :) And they have a dance party with you on the day you get your braces off!

I recently started Invisalign (and as an adult contemplating braces for a second time), the idea of it made me cringe. I met with Dr. Guerrero who was patient, extremely knowledgeable and created a treatment plan for me pretty quickly. She was mindful of my concerns while thoroughly explaining my treatment options and also why certain things were necessary. It definitely put me at ease and confirmed I made the right decision. Staff is always really friendly and scheduling appointments are a breeze. Would highly recommend Dr. Guerrero and team for all orthodontic work!

I could not recommend Dr. Greenspan and his team more highly. The idea of getting braces for the second time at age 40 was practically crippling for me, but I needed to correct my open bite to prevent problems down the line. I visited three other orthodontists who all indicated my case would require braces AND surgery. Dr. Greenspan was able to correct my bite and leave me with beautiful, straight teeth. I just got my braces off and couldn't be happier with my result! I wore braces for 6 years when I was younger and had them taken off because I was over wearing them. Many ridiculed me for getting braces back on when my teeth were so straight, but they had no idea the pain I suffered with my bite being incorrect. I was in braces for a year and it was great. The brackets are small and Dr and his staff do everything to make sure you are comfortable before you leave. Dr Greenspan is a perfectionist and that's what you want in an orthodontist. We used Dr. Greenspan and his team for many years. One of our kids had a very crowded mouth and lacked room for the adult teeth to properly come in. Dr. Greenspan guided the adult teeth in without having to remove many teeth in the process. Other doctors wanted to just pull teeth then put braces on. Our other child was much more straight forward. Now that the kids have their braces off we can easily see the perfection! Dr. Greenspan does not over charge and is very reasonable. Easy appointments and clean office! We would definitely use Dr. Greenspan in the future if needed!

Let me try this again, Yelp. I had a follow up appointment and noticed my legit review was pulled? I would like to pay it forward to work well done. I had straight teeth but a challenging alignment issue to due a previous surgery. There is no one else I would have trusted to get the job done. He has the top of the line equipment in a very clean, modern office. Parking is always easy. His system for scheduling is automated and helpful with e-mail reminders sent before each visit. Absolutely awful, rude, and unprofessional doctor. If you want to suffer for years and pay double please use him, but if you want someone to treat you with respect and enjoy seeing a doctor without shaky hands, I suggest you find someone else.
