I have always been a fan of small, family-owned pharmacies and decided to switch here from a nearby CVS (horrible experience there) and we are so glad we did! Amazing service, friendly staff, beautiful store, answers phone quickly and delivers. Very highly recommend this place over a chain pharmacy in the area anyday!

New Drug Loft is a beautiful new independently owned business. I'm partial to the small pharmacy as opposed to the big three Walgreens, CVS, and Rite Aid! There's beautiful merchandise here and it's very clean. I needed help with an item and the employee was very nice taking time to show me what they had. We had a nice chat.
I know where I will go for gifts and cards. They have a great selection of items that smell so great and lotions too. The Christmas decorations are very cute. If you live in the neighborhood I recommend you visit when you need something. I'll be back when

The drug loft is the BEST! I’ve been using them for over 25 years and they couldn’t be nicer, more helpful and efficient. From Ben the pharmacist- who is so knowledgeable and wonderful , to Nuri and Norman and all the rest, you couldn’t be in better hands . They are better then any pharmacy I’ve ever been too. I live in the Bronx and I started using New Drug Loft (formally named Drug Loft) pharmacy for over 30 years. I cannot express to you how amazing this pharmacy is. New Drug Loft provide the kind of service you won't get with the huge chain stores.
The Pharmacist and staffers are extremely helpful, attentive and knowledgeable. They are very informative on whether you can use a generic brand medicine which is often more budget friendly. They are the kindest and most responsible team.

Ben, Nury, Norman and all of the staff rock..I have been a customer since Nury was a young girl. (she is still young but that is because I am a crone.)
Ben the pharmacist then took over..I consider them my family.I do my own research on branded and generic brands..Ben and I have discussed my drugs if they changed.. There are times they are so busy..but with a new larger location, I wish them well. I have to walk farther, (I got some more steps in) I love my independent pharmacy.

Amazing little pharmacy that I popped into by pure chance while looking for a toothbrush. I didn't recognize it's actually a pharmacy unless once I'm inside, I was walking down the street from the hotel wondering around and looking for a Walgreens or something and the vitrine caught my attention due to the neat display of Avène and other French skin care products which I rarely came across in the states "I knew later that those amazing products are getting more popular lastly around here for some reason". Very disappointed in the experiences I've had at New Drug Loft. They filled my prescription with the wrong medicine not once but twice. Granted, the medicine given in error was thankfully in the same family as the medicine I was prescribed (and this wasn't a generic vs. brand name error) but this is still an unacceptable mistake. After the first time it happened I vowed to always google the pill name to ensure the pill I received looked correct. So the second time, I did this, and the pill didn't look right once again. I love this place and the people who work there!!! My doctor unknowingly prescribed a medication that would interact with one of my supplements and the pharmacist (Ben) caught it! the staff is always a wealth of knowledge. Everyone is very down to earth, especially for the upper east side! Always a pleasure to shop there for hard to find beauty goodies. Highly recommend...The personal touch goes a long way!
